Jokic obviously doesn't care for the award.
But Embiid...he said things in the summer about running for both MVP and DPOY.
Until now DPOY is a possibility. MVP...forget it. Sixers are bad away from Philly. Really bad.

It's Giannis' award to lose at this point.

Rockets not winning tho. People think they'll fail in the playoffs, but the perception carries over into the regular season. Also, Harden's style of play has gotten boring. Tough to overcome that without winning.

Not sure Embiid has even been the best defender on his team. Hes a top tier rim protector but his defense outside is really shaky and has a lot of holes. His activity is really sluggish too and his defensive footwork is lacking outside of the rim. I think Horford has been as good overall defensively if not better but the real story is Ben Simmons. Him and Smart are crushing every other guard in the league by eons defensively so far. Ben has taken guys like Sabonis and Turner in the post and off rolls, defending Brogdon in the halfcourt and transition and came up with 3 straight gamewinning steals in the last 20 seconds to ice the game

Giannis has become slightly more clear cut with Doncic snapping at his heels instead of LeBron. As long as Giannis powers the Bucks to a great record, they win. Otherwise they don't, since they're waiting to anoint Doncic. I don't see any fault in rewarding either. Garden isn't getting it at this point.

Some nice MVP wars tonight with Giannis/Kawhi (maybe?) going tonight and lebron matching up vs emerging MVP candidate Carmelo Anthony in a late game.

Giannis is way ahead of everyone. I don't think it's close.

Lmao, if you think as of rn the MVP is anyone other than Giannis, you’re just being a contrarian.

Giannis might have it locked up by the end of the month, if he hasn't already. This is like Curry's 2016 campaign where he locked it up basically by Christmas when they spanked the Cavs.

Giannis is the mvp. Stop bringing up Lebron. He has a ducking top 5 player on his team

Giannis is going to win the award. His team is great AND he is having a better individual season than any of the other candidates.

Giannis has a better case for unanimous MVP than Curry did in his campaign and that's saying something.

He was good against the Clips but not really dominant. They murked the Clips in the non-Giannis minutes, the bench especially
