I've said this before but Javale might be the best backup Center over the past 8 years or so.

How he doesn't get locked up by any team and keeps playing for the minimum contract is beyond me.

I think some teams are still biased against him because of his boneheaded plays earlier in his career

Pelicans just want it more right now. Suns aren't fighting. Not sure what happened about 4-6 weeks ago, but Suns completely changed their mentality.

This Pelicans team is fun to watch and easy to root for. Come on Zion, where you at!? During the playin I mentioned The Wolves need to beat the (Kawhi-less) Clips to secure a playoff spot ASAP because The Pelicans are scarier IMO.

I don't understand why he can't just play 10-15 minutes a game to give his team anything. Then let his body/game dictate how much he plays afterwards.

it's a mystery to me why he's not playing, but again, everything reported has said that he wants to play, so i dunno, guess the pels are just trying to be as cautious as possible

My point is- yes, it is impressive that the Pelicans turned their season around somewhat, but ordinarily they would still be out of the playoffs before this stupid play in format- it is also very unfortunate that PG got covid- another reason why 1 game shouldn't take precedent over 82.

Having said that- I'm pulling for the Pelicans now. Not a fan of the Suns at all. Only team left that I'd cheer for the Suns against is the Warriors.

Agreed. Not every player hits the league and blows up. Ingram has had a slow burn, but he is another one of these tall, lanky, explosive players(KD mold) that go super sayian, and no one can guard them.

Highly doubtful- the game was very close and Kennard (the best 3 point shooter by %) was also out.

They've had a lot of different rotations throughout the year with all the big changes they've made. But he seems pretty tight on playing BI an entire quarter than bringing him out around the 7-6:30 Mark the next quarter. Need to expand it a little in the playoffs
