Jesus, after watching that breakdown of Nicole Jobitch's flopping and dirty antics, such as elbowing Harden on a lay-up (and getting away with it, surprise surprise), he's no better than Draymond Green at this point

Elbowing someone on a layup is extremely tame for Green though. I have said before that Jokic gets away with a lot of crap but calling him no better than Draymond is just hyperbole. Draymond is far and away the dirtiest player of the last decade plus. Jokic, while he is very physical and gets away with a lot, is not just a psychotic cheap shot artist like Green

Sure, Draymond is an AA-12 and Nicole is a Spas-12.
That better?

Should give him Technical early in the game and he wouldn’t flop the rest of that game.
And Lue should definitely challenge one of Jokic’s flops
Just curious, is there any way we can stop clutching out pearls about Jokic flopping in a series that features James Harden? Any chance of that at all? Any?
As soon as Harden goes flying because Earl Boykins looks at him or Spudd Webb touches him, then we can be on the same page
So because Harden isnt 7 feet tall, its not egregious flopping when he throws his body around like a rag doll any time a defender is within 2 feet of him? that where we're going with this?

I mean, care to show me a compilation video of Harden doing that during this series?
And would be nice as well if you could throw in Harden elbowing anyone during a lay-up along with James winding up to throw an elbow to the back of someone's head.
Edit: hell, show me a compilation of Harden in one game matching the amount of time the Joke did during the last game.
How anyone can defend such play is beyond me. Like those that defend Luka's crying or Draymond's actions. Or Malone despite him being a trans human. If Harden pulled actions like that, hell, if Kawhi did, I would be th first to call them out and be disgusted.
Instead, all I see is "bUt HaRdEn" and other drivel

Nice. Motivation for Clips. They are one of a few 30+ win home teams. Not sure you wanna add any bulletin board material. Their role players also shoot like crazy from home. Ballmer and their head of Ops has said no fake arena noise, they put a lot of R&D into acoustics and shape of the arena for max sound.

You can nitpick any game from any player if you really try hard enough. EPM and BPM aren't gospel, but they a nice sanity check and definitely point in the direction of Jokic having a great series and the other Nuggets starters being mid
Joker is the consensus best player right now… of course people hold him to the highest standard… the thing about him is, with the way Nuggets playing, he would not have a bad stats even if he had a bad game… people expect him dominating, but he hasn’t
He’s averaged +5.5 EPM and +12.9 BPM this series. I’m not sure what level of play would satisfy Jokic critics/skeptics because they’re always going to find something to be unhappy about. For instance, Even if he has a great game skeptics/critics are just going to focus on the sequence and timing of the events to criticize Jokic.
Nah I'm waiting to see him dominate like an all time great, and beat a good team for once in a playoff series. He's hyped a TON on here as being some historic player, his numbers are posted all day every day, and I'm just waiting to see him in a series, vs. a team capable of beating them (so not 23') and for it to be like Jokic was just too much. He's over 30, 3xMVP and I've never seen that out of him. When a guy gets the praise like he does, and points such as this are brought up and met with smug, attacking dismissal, its going to lead to criticism. And if Denver loses this series, more embarrassment for the Jokic fanatics following last seasons loss to Minnesota. It's time for Jokic to take over and win 3 of the next 5 games. There's no way around it. It hasn't felt like he's dominated either game for any stretch so far.

Im not defending Jokic for flopping. Im saying stop pretending that Jokic is doing something unacceptable while you clearly look the other way when players you like do it. ok... Jokic flopped... get over it. whats next, we gonna complain about Free Throw disparity or something? this is low hanging fruit nonsense.
Also, can you explain what you mean when you say Malone is a trans human? im legitimately not following.

Show me where I looked the other way. I'll wait.
And to downplay it and say he flopped, get over it is quite hilarious. Makes it seem like it was once or twice. While also ignoring him elbowing Harden while James had already went aerial for lay up. While ignoring that he threw an elbow to the back of Zu's head with wind-up.
If anyone is looking the other way, it's those that are downplaying Nicole's actions and resorting to BbBbBbBuT hArDeN.
And auto correct changed trash to trans for some reason

If one’s criteria based on your feelings one can adjust it up and down so a player never reaches it. Jokic critics always seem to find to nitpick. Like I said even if he plays great they will criticize the sequence and timing of events

I'd happily acknowledge him as what many posters here claim he is (all time great, GOAT offensive player), but just looking at numbers doesn't do that for me. It's fair to question if his play style as a high post screen/hand-off hub who shoots an efficient number on pretty specific looks is as great as his numbers suggest. The numbers are great, but those numbers go out the window in a playoff series, where the truly elite have to create off script plays out of nothing, because the defense knows all your regular stuff. He hasn't demonstrated anything amazing as a scorer or playmaker in this series yet and has looked frazzled down the stretch of games (flopping, missing FTs, turnovers, deferring to others). Lots of pressure to win here in round 1, I think LA has looked better and now has home court. Jokic needs to get on that low block and get Zubac into foul trouble, then stay there and abuse their backup bigs.

I don't think anyone is saying it is flipping a game, and he's not the only human being who has ever done it. But there were a couple of egregious examples that looked really bad and were just annoying to watch (especially because he got the calls.) So people are talking about it.

what im saying is that people who live in glass houses shouldnt throw stones. thats pretty much the whole point. Jokic flopping is annoying. Im a Laker fan and I can tell you that LeBron flopping is annoying. James Harden is such a notorious flopper that if you just put "worst floppers in the nba" into a google search, literally every article that comes up lists Harden among the top culprits. I know this because I did that earlier and checked something like 9 or 10 articles, all of which had the same results. The point of this is not to throw shade at Harden, its to ask how can a person who is rooting for James Harden complain about another player flopping? It just doesnt make any sense. Like, flopping cant piss you off THAT badly... i think its just your emotions running high during a competitive high stakes playoff series, and youre looking for reasons to be mad at the enemy.
