Meanwhile, LeBron finally surpassed Jordan in GOAT rankings in Hoopshype and I expect every legitimate sports site to follow suit soon. Now it's up to MJ to take back his throne from LeBron.. oh wait he retired 22 years ago there's nothing he can do about it while LeBron still playing this postseason.

That's true.
Good assessment:

Messi is better than these losers in his respective sport by about 50 miles.

:o LeBron is 0-7 in game winning/tying FGs in the finals. And is 20/116 or 17% in game winning/tying FGs in the 4th/OT for his career. That's historically bad :o

Never knew Hoopshype was this (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Im looking through that list and shaking my head. Apart form LBJ not doing jack **** to surpass MJ or even Kareem, the list has KD over Curry, Kobe in top 10, CP3 over Jokic and so on.

I mean, I'm guessing they are only waiting for the longevity, but if that's true, Giannis shouldn't be much higher either. Both are obviously much better than Pip, CP, and the likes.

Just what we needed with the playoffs underway, a LeBron/Jordan thread. OP with another great contribution to the board.

All these media sites need to stir up controversy to get more traffic so they have to stir the pot and list Lebron higher than Mike.

But imo it just doesn’t feel right to have Lebron over Mike even Lebron’s own friends and circle rolled their eyes when Lebron said it to them in that show he did.

Mike just has that greatness aura better than LBJ.

And as in boxing and MMA the challenger needs to do more than enough to supplant the current champ in this case Mike. And I just don’t think Lebron has convincingly done it. There’s too many holes. Maybe if he won in 2011, then it really is 50/50.

Anyone who says Lebron is just victim of recency bias and ofc with every new generation Mike will be more forgotten and it’s Lebron who will be remembered more.
