Even up 3-2, it’s time to put to bed the idea of OKC being some all-time great team. Denver’s 2023 team might have ended this series already. OKC is really good, but at no point watching them have I felt like I was watching one of the best teams ever like the regular season net rating suggests.

The Nuggets have played like champions and won some miraculous games to keep the series close, but the Thunder are still outscoring them by 8.8 PPG in the series. For the playoffs as a whole, the Thunder are outscoring their opposition by 13.5 PPG. That’s an even larger margin than during the regular season.

The Thunder have had 1 loss on a game winning 3 with 2.5 seconds left after a coaching error when Jokic puts up 40/20 and one loss in a crazy game in OT, but that doesn’t mean they’re not as good as advertised. I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see them win every game from here on out or to see them lose to Denver in Game 6 and then go 9-0 the rest of the way from there.

If OKC keeps playing like this thers no way they'd go 9-0 the rest of the way. They have two huge blowout wins in the playoffs so far. They are skewing the margin of victory numbers, when in fact OKC has looked pretty pedestrian with some fairly major problems offensively, especially in this series.

Adelman really needs to trust strawther and Watson to hold the fort and give Gordon and Murray some rest end of 3rd and beginning of 4th quarter. Watson needs to play 20 mins and strawther 15 mins in game 6 and game 7. They're the x-factor. Russ is Russ and I'm not expecting anything else from him. He was horrible last night and needed to be benched.

There's 2 days of rest for jokic and Murray after game 6. OKC won't go away quietly but the nuggets had them game 4 and game 5 and just couldn't finish.

Watched a completely different game than me-

Sga is playing as the leader of a team -

He isn’t coasting when he is constantly leading in plus minus and plays defense hard when his shots not falling.

But just like Jokic, he defers when the other guys have it rolling - yet still ended up with 31 a bunch of assist and rebounds and steals in the win…

Punishing SgA and Tatum for having strong teams when there are multiple games the nuggets lose if role players don’t make game winning 3s or dunks is illogical

If you want to see 1 v 1 and that’s the only way to judge a player - watch ufc

turn the page i had caruso, cason and gordon as the three best players in the series, and out of the stars of the show (jokic, sga, jdub, murray, chet) i had both sga and jokic the worst.

i just called presti the thunder's mvp. sucks for denver that their gm isn't the mvp of their franchise.

but i'll tell you another difference that you've missed. sga doesn't take plays off on defense, and he's fantastic there. both have had stinkers, but sga always pays his due on defense. can you tell the same about the other guy?

SGA has played Jokic to a standstill in this series, if not slightly better. Scoring at nearly identical rate, but SGA more efficient 57.8 TS% vs. Jokic 55.5 TS%. SGA higher assists and lower turnovers. Jokic higher rebounds and more minutes.

I don't get involved in the Jokic slander because it is indeed petty and foolish, but it's funny when people condemn a group for being "haters" then return the favor by being a hater themselves.
