Terry Rozier is looking really good. Some point guards just play better when they start. When we had Jerry Bayless he looked like a borderline all star when he started, yet he comes off the bench he's a complete scrub.

yup, weak core, probably his biggest issue at Duke, it's why he could never keep balance and was an awful finisher

really need to get that strength up.

That's literally what his injury was (core muscle injury) and why he had surgery not long ago.

Clarke is just so fun to watch because of how athletic he is and his crazy high motor.

Will adding another young player really help that team at this point? They need to cash in some value to get someone to teach them how to win. I think a Jimmy Butler type could push a team like this in the right direction but no one looks available. Maybe snag DeMar and Drummond in free agency

Yeah I didn't really mean it as a good thing. It's still only preseason but ngl, it's disappointing to see how disorganized they look on both ends of the floor.

Lot of new guys and youngsters added so hopefully it’s just going to be a process. They might catch their stride in the new year and as long as they don’t fall completely flat they should still be in a playoff hunt

Having the top pick is always a good thing. Adding a nice young big to what is a below average Len-Jones rotation is a priority.

Does anyone think Atlanta should cash in on John Collins while his value is high?

I know he was arguably their best player last year, but I can't help shake the feeling that I can't see his role on a contender. He's a big who doesn't space the floor and is weak defensively, and can't play the 5. I just think pure 4's who aren't bringing insane value like griffin or potentially zion are kind of outdated, especially if they can't play defence.

Hope if they get the number one pick it’s because of a jump like the Pelicans and this team stays competitive. If history is anything from lose your star and win the draft then OKC is likely to win it or Hornets.

Porzingis has gotten more open looks in a few preseason games with the Mavs then he did his whole Knicks run, lol. He's gonna be really good with Luka and Dallas.

I’m high on Collins I don’t believe you trade him unless you get a superstar in return. He put up slightly better numbers than Siakam who won MIP and he’s only 22. Good size and insane athlete and I believe his defense will come in time. Not a high volume shooter but shown he can knock them down. Put Hunter at SF and that team is just missing a elite defensive big man.

Bagley looking good on both ends of the court to start the game for the Kings. Needs to speed that shot up though.

Just sticks out whenever you watch him. The dude is just bouncing around, diving, flying high for a board or a block all the time.

so hard to draw a comp for him, the size, athleticism and way he plays is so unique

I've always felt the same but never said anything cause I didn't know if my grasp of his game was too lacking. Not sure how to put my finger on it but I have this hunch that he'll be a good player, but his stats will be far better than his impact.

porzingis getting shots up but not really showing anything on the defensive end. even on offense his footwork and feel looks off, you put a 6'6 guy on him with quickness he will struggle to exploit the mismatch. having said that, if he rounds it form i do like the combo of him and maxi kleber. both big and great floor spacers.

The race for 8th in the West is going to be really fun to watch this year. Sac, Dal and the Pels all have legit shots at sneaking in. I really like all 3 of those teams.
