I thought I saw Lowry sitting beside Harden.
Kuz, John Wall, Tatum, Bazemore,... I‘m sure 3/4 of the league are with them... except LeBron
Parker, Ginoboli, West, Wade. I think I saw Bosh there.

That may have been the toughest thing I've ever watched.

Is anyone else surprised Phil Jackson didn't speak? He was there, and he coached Kobe to all five of his championships. Would've thought he'd be an obvious speaker.

This funeral is more of a vanity fair, but that MJ speech was very moving.

Maybe he wasn't asked or maybe he's finding it difficult to deal with. He looked pretty sad out there and has been pretty quiet about this whole thing. I was also a bit surprised that Magic didn't speak.
It's a shame the telecast was messed up during Shaq speech (maybe Kobe was messing with him one last time?). Seemed like it had some good stories in it.

Well I am as well. I was expecting Jerry West, Phil Jackson, Pau and Magic to speak as well, but maybe they elected not to, maybe they just wanted to be there without having to speak.

Thanks for the cliff notes.. I could stream from the phone, or minimize the screen and listen on the desktop. just chose not to.

He already gave a speech about Kobe, doesn't need to hog the limelight. I didn't see Kobe's parents either, I'm sure he has hundreds of people who would want to say some words about him.
He wasn't shown but one of the speakers made a joke at his expense about not having a turn around J and pointed into the crowd I assume he was there. The memorial is not really about him though, is it?

Damn thought it was just me was refreshing Youtube wondering if it was my connection or something. It's
crazy that in 2020 we still have so many lag and latency and freezing issues and things of that variety with
so much of our technology.

Were Kobes parents there or are they still on bad terms with him?

Re: Kobe Bryant Discussion, Part Two
I believe this is the first time I'm seeing The GOAT honest and open like this. His HOF speech was interesting, but those were different emotions. That was about what drove him, this one was heartbreaking.
They were there.
