Sure you didn’t go too soon with your comment run and dunk man?

Post Embiids line

31-6-10 on 50% shooting, only one turnover… and a dagger 3 and clutch defence on Giannis down the stretch.

Embiid got a dub against Giannis. He still has a bit of life.
Jokic 31/21/22
Luka & Oscar = 5 x 27/8/8
The Brodie = All-out energy

31 pts 10 rebounds 6 assists is pretty good stat line. Especially since they needed all those rebounds as Philly was woefully out rebounded the whole game. Good on embiid

Oh forget what I said about Philly being out rebounded then.

This thread should be locked. It’s over at this point, Jokic has the mvp gift wrapped to him now.

one game, even if it's a game like this - doesn't nullify the rest of the season

with that said, we've had two pages of Bucks fans talking about Giannis defense and their win streak
tonight the 76ers scored 48 in the 4th - in Milwaukee!

Sorry, does that 4th quarter just remove the previous 16 games from history?

Whole team collapsed defensively in the 4th. It was annoying. C'est la vie, can't win them all. Philly also hit quite a few super-late clock bailout shots.

Nuggets half a game out of best record in the league.

The top teams right now.

1. Milwaukee
2. Denver
3. Boston
4. Philadelphia
5. Memphis
6. Cleveland
7. Sacramento

Quick. Which roster has only one player who's been an All Star, or even close to it?

I will say I do find it funny that I think we got the two polar opposites in the last two nights. Last night we had a bunch of people (including myself) criticizing Jokic for being too passive. Then tonight we got Giannis on the opposite side of the spectrum just went full on hero ISO mode and just completely put a stop to all the ball movement and flow the offense had (yes I know the defensive collapse as well, just talking about the offensive side).

no it doesn't

but it does demonstrate that if the so called "one of the worst defenses in the league" led by a Center whose a defensive liability that's always targeted defensively, doesn't concede 48 pts in any quarter this season, while the 2nd best defense whose "anchored" by a DPOY gets stuffed for 48 in a comeback fourth at home in a playoff atmosphere, then maybe "defense" is overrated in this era \ rules?

every time I See jamal too timid and\or too selfish to pass the ball back to the Joker in the PNR - I close my eyes and envision Harden + Jokic

As good as Embiids counting stats were, he was exposed again on the pick and pop by shooting C’s. Bucks had open looks from 3 all game because he was camping in the key. Lopez had 26 points on 16 shots.

The Sixers made their run with him on the bench and he ended with a -7 in a 3 point victory.

Nothing to really expose. You can't expect a 7 footer to chase on the three point line and man a drop coverage defense. The Bucks have Loped who is basically one of the big men players in the league who can do this.

Which ones? The ones Giannis played or the ones he didn’t. :p I am just joking :) Giannis rebounded the ball well. One of his greatest skills that get overlooked

Streaks end good gm by 76ers they hit multiple shots with hand in face and shot clock ending. People saying it’s over now for jokic lol
There’s a lot of gms left let’s see how it plays out this gm was the one I thought might give us problems.

Ya there is no way to cut it, Giannis is an elite defender. Just because Milwaukee has multiple elite defenders doesn’t take away the fact Giannis is still elite.

Almost like both Milwaukee and Denver have tried their best to build around the strengths of their franchise players, how fascinating :D

they are starpadding
