Clearly you need to be going to Vegas and putting money on this.

Bummer for SGA who is having an all time great season himself, but he'll get his chance.
SGA will be in the conversation for a long time. He'll be fine.

Embiid will finish the game with 31pts 15rbs 11ast in just 3 quarters of work. He now has 15 in a row of 30 and 10 one away from tying Kareem who did it 16 games in a row….MVP!

What Nick Nurse did on Embiid is basically copying Jokic’s game, which really did well … it shows Embiid has another level to go that is scary

With the NBA’s new rules about games played, Sixers could well be best served by Embiid forgoing competing for it, and sitting out games everytime he’s recovering from a sprain. The big guy is definitely the Bull AND the china shop, and I’d like to see him head into the 2nd round of the playoffs healthy for once.

Problem for Jo is his injuries are mostly freak injuries, not wear and tear. He also loses his conditioning when he sits. It's literally about luck.

It's sad because he goes all out int he playoffs and his defense becomes all time great. But he's so physical, and the opposition is, that it's just asking for some sort of injury. He's mostly able to avoid it in the regular season because he's coasting in some ways.

Embiid missed the Chicago match the other night and the sixers looked horrid, eventually losing 92-105. He comes back against the same team a few nights later and the sixers look like a different team.

Had Embiid returned a few days ago, the above poster would have said “I said the other day Embiid would return against Chicago after missing games against teams with a winning record.”
These guys are constantly throwing mud on the wall and hoping some of it will stick, so that they can claim they have “told you so”.

Watch out what you wish for…. I agree Joker will never average 35 ppg in regular season, that’s not his DNA… but he can average that in playoffs

SGA beating a championship caliber team has way more value than Embiid eating on another sub .500 team.

Ah right, we just decided to forget that the Sixers beat OKC earlier this year (dropped 35,11,9 with 4 blocks), and they beat the best defense in the league with the Timberwolves where he dropped 50.

Philly also beat the Celtics to start the season (another contender). Embiid was with the team the next game when they lost and then wasn't playing for one of the games, so the season series is 2-1 for the Celtics. But essentially with Embiid they're 1-1. Not bad at all there. So let's just continue with this ridiculous narrative of your that has more holes than swiss cheese.

Let's not forget they lost to the Bucks by 1 point on opening day. Feels like Embiid does just fine against elite competition.

This reimagined set of facts with you is getting to be a thing. You seem to be conveniently excluding information to further your narrative.

The sad thing is SGA is right in there, and you don't need to be saying stuff like this, to take away from Embiid, when he's beaten great teams as well.

This kind of post is just sad. I'd love to hear your rebuttal to this post. I won't be holding my breath though.

I swapped to Shai being my preferred MVP a week ago when Embiid continued to miss a bunch of games. This is looking like it'll come down to games played.

Games played will be fine IMO, it'll be record, and who they beat in the last month. If Embiid can do what he did last year where he beat a bunch of a good teams, then it'll be his. If SGA can do it, and Embiid loses to a few, it'll be SGA.
