Really hoping Dennis Smith Jr manages to stay healthy...although I think thats really unlikely with the way he plays...but man o man if he stays healthy kid can be a 20+ ppg, 5+ rbg, 5+ asts guy

A KP/DSJ duo to build around would be one hell of a good building block for NY. I hate it for Knicks fans, but I think this one is going to hurt.

Yea If this frank dude becomes total bust and garbage I'm done with the knicks and will litterly become a anti knick fan until dolan leaves.

I just dont understand how the knicks do the same thing over and over and over. You would think they learned from the prior drafts but its like her we got 1 good guy lets mess up the next 10 picks.

Knicks are the worst franchise and the fan base is also a laughing stock. You have people screaming to pick frank when there is no proof of him being good. He looks slow, played in a league where he didnt even dominate in and didnt even work out for any teams.

When you have smith who was looked to be the number 1 draft pick before his injury like its not rocket science on who to pick. If you wanted frank atleast trade down acquire more assets.

I think Frank will be great, offensively and defensively. Hopefully the NY fans can be patient for a couple of years.

I'm worried about NY without Jackson being there. No way would he of signed THJ even for half that money, because of his defense.

Yea because his track record is great he hit home runs in free agency and trading with Derick rose, Joakim Noah, Courney Lee.

The dude was so stuck in the past that he actually thought is was like 2007 or something

I think they made the right choice with Ball (for them)

No, they didn't. Did you see DSJ tonight? He dominated again. These two are so dramatically different from a ceiling perspective it's like comparing PJ Brown to Kevin Garnett.

Well said. I think DSJ is a clear example of GM's just over thinking it. I can see why the first 7 teams drafted who they drafted, again I obviously though DSJ shouldve gone much higher but the picks are understandable to me, up until the Knicks pick. I just dont see how a team could go with Frank over DSJ, I think NY just thought, "Hey we nailed it with KP, we must really know how to draft these over seas guys."

As a Knick fan you can tell me if Im wrong on this, but Dolan seems to be an owner willing to spend money and doesnt seem to step on the toes of the FO and lets them do their thing. The major problem I see with Dolan is that he chooses the worst people to run the team, then gives them complete control and a huge leash and it just destroys the team. Am I wrong on that?

To be honest I believe it's partial of his bad hiring and the fact that he also likes to step in. I mean anything in sports that has to do with the FO begins with the owner. First off he owns the team for the money not because he actually cares about winning. He has it down to a science get knicks fan mad and they will come. I'm from new york, live in new york and the fan base is a joke. All they do is crack jokes on fellow fans and overrate there own players. I swear I feel like 90% have never even been to high school.

When you have a team like the nets and kings considered the worst places to play for already making better moves than the knicks thats a huge problem.

We have gone after players with big names and no track record of winning since dolan has came here and its disgusting. With all the loosing we have done we could have brought in ewing to coach atleast he would garner respect. A hall of fame player not to mention he's 7ft and I dont think players would ignore him.

Also melo seriously needs to leave. Why in the hell would you resign him when you've been loosing with him and have tried to build around him multiple times. People can say he has had bad rosters but when you find gems like lin you dont let them leave. Thats the melo affect if anther player shines he wants them out or iso's them out.

Melo is impossible to build around and we will see that when he try to pair up with anther few superstars and they end up having a even record or loosing.

Melo is a bonafide looser and I dont wanna hear about college because even his own college coach has said bad things about him.

idk about more upside than anyone

i dont see him ever being a great enough scorer or defender in order to be that

If he was playing for the Lakers for you he would be the next Chris Paul, but seeing as he's playing for the Mavs he can't hold Lonzo's jockstrap etc.

In reality he's currently for me the favourite to win ROY.

Dennis Smith Jr is just filthy. I never understood the lack of hype on this guy... if he becomes the best player in this draft do not consider me surprised. If anyone in this draft has the "it" factor it's definetly him. Congrats Dallas you guys got a good one.

It's Damian Lillard all over again. I'm a Lakers fan but I respect his talent and skill set.

Sidenote: it's crazy how D'aaron Fox can get to anywhere on the court.

Nah. Dude looks average imo. Honestly reminds me of Smush Parker and I'm not trying to hate on the guy. They are both around the same height. Smush could look good at times. Dunked over Ben Wallace, had like 4 20+ point games as a laker starter.

But this dude is too small. He's not going to score in the regular season. Won't say he'll be as bad as Smush. Just not sure from that highlight reel. He looks average, and he looks like he's playing at his ceiling.

Summer league doesn't have the spacing that NBA games have. In real games I bet he has a bit of an easier time. J Brown has been having the same issue.

He's a little slow and doesn't have the quick first step. I think it's going to be worse in the nba. He has to work on his handles big time.

DSJ is in the perfect spot to win ROY this season. Good enough pieces around him without having to do everything for the Mavs.

Lonzo and Josh should be in the running as well. I thought Fox had a damn good shot till Hill got signed. He could still dark horse this thing.

Coach Stevens needs to find a way to get Tatum on the floor but it may be tough to get him the necessary touches to ROY up.

I think Fultz fights with Simmons for ROY out in Philly and may cancel out.
