Not sure why people are clowning the nuggs, both of their starting forwards are playing injured.

Yep. Small guy on a big guy and allow him to hack. It’s been blatant for sure and a smart strategy but let’s be real with what’s going on

It’s trolls tbh - the fact they went to 7 is incredible itself.

Yea because the people hating on him or not doing so in good faith. I've pretty much memorized every single one of these posters Usernames at this point because all of them are nothing but salty Lakers fans or anti-Jokic trolls. They do nothing but trash him nonstop. Even when he plays out of his mind they find ways to trash them. They are unserious people. Pay them no mind.

Shouldn't be hard to get the video then.

This is one of those games a fan with tears in his eyes tries to cut up a foul compilation and finds nothing.

99% guarantee it's an internal promotion. Their last three or four GM's have all been internal promotions. Maybe before that, too, but that's as far back as I know. Internal = cheap.

They actually had Ujiri (good) and let him walk for money, Connelly (good) and let him walk for money, and Booth (also good, imo) and let him go, apparently because of a personality clash with Malone. It's hard to imagine this string of genius-level internal hires could continue, but I guess we'll find out.

Denver ownership strikes me as an ownership that is glad as long as the team is relevant and making the playoffs and not in the red, they’re good. Jokic emerging into an all time player is something they probably didn’t foresee and is just an added bonus. The fact that he doesn’t threaten to leave, put pressure on the front office or really say anything media wise is the cherry on top for them. Most modern owners would love that.

Nightmare scenario as a Jokic fan, if true. Which, yeah, it kind of does seem true.

Right? It really is pathetic to blame officials for every single loss. FFS, Denver is playing with 2 hurt starters, an exhausted Jokic, and a bunch of young players. To put OKC going full buzzsaw mode on defense on top of that, you're going to lose.

This is the correct post. Maybe this is because I lived through the Isiah era which forced me to focus on my team flaws rather than refs but any Nuggets fan whining about the refs tonight is delusional.

OKC has a massive, massive talent difference.

Respectable showing from Denver during this playoff run. You have to think about how they would have performed with Porter Jr healthy and Gordon healthy for game 7. They were overwhelmed by the depth and defensive intensity of OKC today. But their future is still bright because Braun made a nice leap this year. I still like their team

No it wouldn't. Gordon even when healthy is not productive enough to warrant being a number 3. If you trade him for someone like Bam, DEN gets better because they now have a PF and a backup C

If Gordon's 3pt shooting leap from this season and playoffs is real he is absolutely productive enough to be a 3rd option. Along with his defense, athleticism and rebounding if he's this elite shooter now too youf be stupid to trade him.

Yeah but AG and CB are the only ones with positive trade value. So if you want to get rid of MPJ or Murray you'd need to include one of them to get a win now asset back. You get me? It's not that I want him gone but as a trade chip Nugs aint got many

Nah what's dumb is people praising Jokic as if he accomplished something while getting blown out.

The attention should be on SGA the real MVP. Jokic has been eliminated the last 2 years. I'm tired of praising MVPs who don't get the job done in the playoffs.

SGA is HIM!

Congrats to OKC. Jokic is my boy. Jokician artillery has eyes. However, I expected a bit more in terms of balls to wall scoring for a GOAT level offensive force.

Love me some OKC, but a a Wolves - Knicks/Pacers finals would be epic for me personally.

That said, OKC is worthy.

It's so incredibly obnoxious. The Nuggets weren't expected to even get out of the first round much less push OKC to 7 - they are playing with house money. OKC had much more to lose today.

Jokic has played about as well as he could when Braun and diminished Gordon are the only ones who showed up at all. I will give MPJ a pass because of his injury, but what's Murray's excuse for going 5/15 FG and 1/8 3P? He's physically healthy as far as I can tell.
