You don't necessarily have to be smart to be a GM though, that's one thing that not everyone understands

The Nets deal was far superior but that's Hennigan's fault walking away from it and realizing he screwed the team on a future of what-if's on what he can get for Hedo & Al's contract next year since they are partial-guarantees.
