So is Al Harrington deal as the next 2 seasons are partially guaranteed, Hennigan knows how valuable those deals (Hedo, Al) next season when the new CBA luxury tax begins.

Thinking about it...they pretty much did what they wanted to do. Trade Howard and create the worst possible team you could to tank and sending out your two worst contracts in Duhon and Richardson.

J-Rich: $5.8M / $6.2M / $6.6M (PO)
Duhon: $3.7M / $3.9M

Davis: $6.4M / $6.4M / $6.6M
Hedo: $11.9M / $12M (PO)

Are those really their worst contracts?

I get the vibe from a lot of Magic fans that they found Davis productive for his contract.

The other awesome part of this: The Magic got rid of a really good coach for no reason.

I agree with this. :nonono:

Ah bitter fan .

No no, I'm serious. But I'm looking with the understanding that the Suns aren't contenders next season. So I'm looking long term, and I'm glad this is happening. Its gonna be a circus equivalent to Shaq/Kobe in LA now. But no bitterness, hell I'd rather the Lakers win than the Heat...

The guy is 30 yrs old. If you're going to be THAT young, you better be really freaking smart, in fact, prodigy level with a ton of life experience.

This guy is not those things. He shot himself in the foot.

I KNEW he should have accepted that Nets deal. can I be a GM Please? I am smarter than these asshats.

You don't necessarily have to be smart to be a GM though, that's one thing that not everyone understands

Otis Smith loves the trade. He's no longer the worst GM in the team's history. How long until the angry mob shows up at Hennigan's front door and asks for his head? PEACE.

There is a good chance Stern assigns Shabazz to your team next year Magic fans, so don't go jumping off any bridges.

The Nets deal was far superior but that's Hennigan's fault walking away from it and realizing he screwed the team on a future of what-if's on what he can get for Hedo & Al's contract next year since they are partial-guarantees.

yeah, i don't see that package as being better. who wants to be locked into a max deal on lopez? rather have afflalo. the picks are basically the same value.

So they could've had that or Bynum and did this trade instead. That settles it, Orlando is f*cking (Please Use More Appropriate Word).
