OKC doesn't really stagger Adams and Westbrook at all, so it's not really true for him at all.

It's also not like OKC has an awesome offensive rating with Russ on the floor. If he maintained his in court rating for a whole game they would be 8th in offensive rating.

Having Samaj setting those guys up instead of a competent backup point guard shouldn't be a plus for Russ either, should be a minus for Presti

It is only because Payne has been injured the entire year. And these guys have played w/o Russ. Adams played 62 minutes with a TS of 50.

~5% of his playing time doesn't really have much statistical significance. He plays almost entirely with Russ. Bigs are also guard dependent so playing off non NBA players will do that. If the Thunder had someone like DJ Augustine, Russ on off stuff wouldn't be as huge

And yet, when Russ isn't on it doesn't matter. Harden sits and Houston's offense runs just fine.

Because the players coming in for him are competent. Don't know why better roster construction should be held against him, and poor roster construction should help Russ.

Because elevating your team matters in being valuable.

You could use either, and both show they're at worst similar and at best Westbrook ahead overall.

I think you're not understanding my point, may be my fault, I'm saying Russ insane on off stuff is so much better than Harden's because of who is coming in. I'm not saying Harden is definitely better, but that that number is skewed in Westbrooks favor

Oh, well in that case this is easy, I totally agree. I expect it lowers w/ Payne back.

40 15 10 for Harden and another win. Every day I expect Hou to go on a cold losing streak and it never happens. Just an amazing start for them this year.

Clear frontrunner for MVP right now

I have to give Harden his due. Never saw this coming from him. Hats off to you sir. As of now its a 2 man race between Russ and Harden. Seems like the best baller was not KD out those three. Harden and Russ just dominate really looking towards Western playoffs. Amazing season so far, just not the home team :( ....

Harden in the driving seat once he can maintain a top 3-4 record.

Pretty impressive stuff.

Harden now has the Rockets tied for #2 in the West. If the Cavs lose to Utah, they'll be ahead of them by a game and a half.
Edit: Nvm. They'll still be behind the Spurs percentage wise.

What's the percentage of LeBron still winning this thing?

Harden's just been a beast. If they do fall off the cliff after the All-Star Break, I think LeBron will still have a realistic shot. I don't see the Thunder being relevant enough (meaning Top 2) as the NBA MVP has always been the Best Player on the Best Team Award.

The Rockets pull ahead of the Cavs.

Just finished watching the Hornets game. Wow, just wow, I keep thinking Harden, and the Rockets as a whole, will eventually come back to earth, but it just doesn't happen. He is having an amazing season, even by the unreal standards he set at the start of the season.

The Cavs dont care about the regular season but honestly they should a little more because they aren't that far behind GSW and homecourt in the finals is huge.
