I hope the Suns don't give a big contract to Oubre, it'll be a treadmill move, and I really hope we get to see Ayton surrounded by a great team as soon as possible, and not with grossly overpaid players.

Anyway, another great night for Ayton and another occasion to lament and curse the fact the Suns, 40+ games into the season, haven't acquired a decent NBA starter PG!

He’s playing much better in last month, but it’s kinda interesting that his best game in his career was against Denver on 12.29. I guess Jokic has some limitations in his game. Other interesting fact is, that Booker looks dispensable. Maybe trading Booker for some good Pg+Pf looks very reasonable for Suns.

i think the suns should've traded Booker for Doncic and then use their other pick on Ayton. that would've been one helluva duo. luka is a much better fit than booker. too late for that now though. so with that being said, i would hold on to him and try to get a PG some other way. maybe Ja Morant is their guy if they can't find a trade

Ayton needs elite Pick&roll Pg, who can also shoot. And that’s not Ja Morant. Luka, Bridges, Ayton and 2 good defenders/shooters, would be very interesting team.

eh he can't shoot but he can def pass the rock. that would do wonders for that team. prob not a good fit defensively tho next to booker. which PGs do you think the suns can get realistically?

Oubre changed PHX. He is the reason why you see continued production once the 2nd unit comes in. They didn't have that before him. JJ was up and down with his form and wasn't reliable. I think Oubre and Holmes are two important pieces that Suns just can't afford to lose in the next off season. They are crucial to bench success and it's working, they just need a proper PG now. And we'll see how Booker develops from here on because there are some issues even though him and Ayton did have some nice games together.

Deandre Ayton has been fantastic so far. He's trully 1b) in the ROY race and was the best fit for Phoenix. Great pick.

Luka Doncic has been at a whole new level but if Luka got injured in the next few weeks and Deandre continued to play at this level, I could see Deandre winning ROY.

It depends, what they would give away. If they don’t get No.1 pick aka. Zion this year, I would for sure try to offer first+something for a star. If not, they can find someone like Rubio.

i don't think Booker would have been very tradeable at the time of the draft, since we all knew his extemsion was coming up. and of course now we definitely can't trade him.

Not according to the Doncicites.

I mean he put 22/13/3 and all I keep hearing is "it was quiet". Can you imagine what he's going to be able to do on loud nights when all of his potential is unlocked?

My goodness when he develop go to moves he’s going to be a huge player. Hitting that James Harden step back to get the 30 piece. His ability to the hoop and his shot is beautiful.

Btw shout out to Luke Kornet. Future bright in New York.

Looked like the next big thing in preseason.

Surprised at the lack of buzz given he's playing in the biggest market.

I think lack of national television. His ankle injury his first month held him back, as well as Tim and Kanter, also Mudiay never looks for him. If we strike out on Zion or RJ. Ja Morant will be huge for Knox and KP.

He lowkey looks like Durant. And if I recall Durant was inefficient as well as a rookie. Plus didn’t have guys look him off, otherwise he could be a 20 ppg scorer, inefficiently though ala Durant rookie year. Also the team doctor said can grow another inch or two.

When he came back from injury, he was struggling for a few games so there wasn't much buzz until he put together a string of good games to earn Eastern Conference Rookie of the Month. I guess Doncic has all the rookie buzz right now and it's warranted. Knox still has his struggles but you can see the potential. His jumpshot has been solid and he's getting better at getting to the rim.

Great to see him healthy and Fiz trusting him. I'm a big fan of his game and really hope he pans out.

He reminds me of KD too. I remember his rookie year being inefficient but did he play out of position at SG? I might be wrong there.

Anyway Knicks got a good one. 19, sheesh.
