The ignorance coming from the pro-Dallas side in this past week has just been astounding. This inevitable Finals victory will be very satisfying.

Celtics fans are so sensitive these days. This wasn't even about you guys. But yes, these Celtics. Becuase that team is of the same generation. Obviously their .500 record and the time lapsed makes clear that there has been roster turnover. But we are in the same era, that's all I meant.

I don't think LeBron and KD are going to care about whether Kyrie wins with another team at this point. To the best of my knowledge KD and Kyrie are close friends who want each other to succeed, and LeBron has nothing to feel insecure about from his time playing next to Kyrie, so I'm not really sure what the original post was hinting at. But nobody feels like KD's legacy has been bolstered by winning in five in the first round against a bad Celtics team that is "from the same generation" as this year's actually good one, when those two teams only share three active players from the playoffs roster and two of them are Luke Kornet and Payton Pritchard.

I beg you Celtics fans, when you lose this scripted series, do not blame Tatum, Brown or Mazzulla. It's not their fault. You just happened to be facing the next league mandated face of the NBA, Luka Doncic. Someone had to be anointed with Steph and Lebron aging out and neither Giannis or Jokic is up the the task, Edwards is a knucklehead and Wembanyama is too young. It's Luka's time and it can't be that unless he's winning FMVP and championships. I wish it weren't so. I hope I'm wrong. I'll be rooting for the Celtics so I AM wrong, because if I'm right, and the Mavs only win if I'm right, then this really is just a step up from scripted wrestling and no longer a sport.

That just isn't realistic. Celtics might win this series but a healthy and hot Mavs team is more difficult than any of those teams. We really haven't seen the Mavs firing on all cylinders until now.

100%. Boston's defense is so good that Luka and Kyrie would rather go to prison than be locked down by the Celtics' players. This is bizarre to me, the numbers couldn't be more clear, at least the knowledgeable (Lowe, Bontemps, Pelton) ones are going with Celtics.

Legler has Mavs in 7 though, I'll roll with Legs over all the other analysts.
