The argument given about conditioning and injury history as a reason to trade a top 3 player in his prime was absurd. And what did they trade him for? A man that has been labeled as made out of glass. NBA decided to pluck a prime superstar off a team and give him to their money franchise for a single FRP and an injury plagued player that works in street clothes.

The problem with Harrison thinking Doncic would ditch Dallas is that Dirk Nowitzki literally played with Doncic and showed Doncic his career. Knowing that Doncic saw that loyalty, took the team to the Finals and still being resolute in trading him is wild.

Absolute miscommunication between Harrison and his star player and the fault lies with Nico Harrison.

Yeah its so weird. The guy carried a mid Dallas team to the finals while averaging a near triple double. Who the hell cares how much he weights while doing so? The weight obviously does not hinder him from carrying this team to the finals.

Who played more games this season?

AD played 39 games less in last 5 season. And he's already hurt.

Interesting that you think the season is over when we’re 50 games in. Again who played more games?

Mark Williams fails his physical yet AD passes with flying colors even though it's clear his groin was hanging on with cellotape. That trade pushed through and finalized so fast like Dallas couldn't wait to get Luka out the door lol

Can't make this faker if you tried.

Get some help dude. Hitler? He made a bad basketball trade. He is not a war criminal. He doesn’t deserve death threats. Being called a moron over and over? Sure.

bad trade. huge swindle. refuse to be gaslighted (gaslit?) about why they did it. Nico Harrison clearly just thought AD was better. He was wrong. NOLA days for Davis are not coming back anytime soon.

The problem with conspiracy people is they never do enough research.

As AD and Luka were both injured at the time of trade, the teams elected to waive the physicals. This is not even close to the same as the Williams trade

Let's lay out the stakes behind the trade. You're trading franchise cornerstone for franchise cornerstone, involving multi billion dollar franchises, one guy involved has supposedly conditioning issues, the other guys nickname is "street clothes"

Yet the physical was mutually agreed to be waived.... Riiight.

I'm not a "conspiracy person" whatever that means. But when things don't make sense, I'm not going to pretend it does just because ESPN tells me it does.

It makes perfect sense. AD and Luka both miss a lot of games. Both clubs thought it was mutually beneficial, therefore the physicals were waived.

AD doesn’t even have lingering issues, he’s just banged up a lot with small things. Other than his small abdominal issue, what lingering issues would he uncovered with the physical? I think he’s played more games than Luka over the last couple seasons. OMG THE LAKERS GOT HOSED, THERES MORE TO THIS!

It makes sense when you actually look into it. You assumed off the jump that AD “passed” his physical which is not true. Look into it before you assume things just “don’t make sense”

This's Luka's first long term injury of his career and he should be back next game. The fewest games he played was 61, but it was Covid shortened season. The most games he missed before this season was 17. He being injured nonstop is a big exaggeration. But yes it's true that AD played more games this season, although that might still change, how relevant is 1 season to compare injury concerns of 25 years old and 31 years old player is on you.

More interesting than injury concerns is Lakers being 7:1 without him.

In isolation Silver's wet dream must be Lakers - Mavs playoff series. But he doesn't want more publicity to this shady story with potential riots in Dallas. Sounds like AD's injury may not be that bad. Both teams also play well and beat good teams even not in full strength, so they'll likely make the playoffs. It'll be interesting. Let's see Luka's debut first.
