2025 NBA PLAYOFFS East Semifinals: #2 Boston Celtics vs #3 New York Knicks (NYK leads 1-0)

What I'm thinking is Boston has great athletes in Tatum and Brown, which both can score in multiple ways anywhere from the court. They have big strong guards who can drive the lane, they have a 7-3 center who can nail a jumpshot and finish close to basket, but yet, all they do is put everyone stand around at the three point line and rely on the three ball volume spamming. This even when their roster would make it possible to run entirely different, more exciting style of basketball. Yes, I understand analytics say this is most efficient way to play, but my god is is boring to watch. Boston could run actual multidimensional offensive schemes and play some sort of "showtime" basketball, but they just choose to be a boring three point spamming team. I think it is a shame and a loss for the fans, and would really, really bad for the league if more teams would start to copy their analytics-driven three point spamming approach.

Would be interesting to hear Celtics fans thoughts on this?

The only physical thing about this game were all the fouls on Mitchell Robinson lol. Especially when kornet would just tie up his arms.

Watching the 1st quarter, and man is our lack of chemistry with Mitch palpable...he doesn't know when to expect passes, and our passers don't know when to feed him without just putting up a shot and letting him grab the board.

I'm not seeing that. He just looks tentative because he's unsure of when guys are going to shoot and he hasn't expected any of the passes in his direction so far. Feels like a timing / chemistry thing, now a physical / body thing.
