First time I've seen Porter play like this. Health pending, he would be invaluable in the playoffs. Looks like a bigger, athletic Cam Johnson who already has good size.

Rarely was he out of position, his rotations seem to be on point for the majority of the night. If he can keep this kind of defensive positioning and awareness up, while also showing improvements at the line and gradual improvements from 3, that would be huge for him. Dude looked like a star tonight.

Haha. Every player needs to just line up and play at Rico Hines during the summer. At minimum you will at least shine in the preseason haha.

Legit has the player development job for the Kings so we shall see what kind of jumps those youngins make over there.

He seems like a very smart player, on offense and defense. He knows where to position himself, who to cover on defense, when to go in for a rebound, how to box out. His year off gave him a huge advantage compared to other rookies.

MPJ has a great looking jumper, but I have to wait to see if the results of his jumper is anything close to Cam's. Cam is the definition of a sharpshooter.

Ice Trae wrote:#1 pick here we come

The Heat played their best 8 players for over 20 minutes each and that kid Herro can flat out score. For the Hawks, Len only played 13 minutes; while Huerter and Crabbe did not play any. Hopefully they are both ready for opening night. The 1st 4 - 6 weeks is a tough schedule and it will be really tough without Huerter and Crabbe.

You do worry to much. In the plus/minus: Trae 0, Collins -2, Len -3, Vince -7. Coach Pierce gave Jones and Bruno 30 minutes at the center spot. Those are Lens minutes in the regular season. All three Hawk's rookies had a brutal night.

Scouting report is out on him. Teams have picked up that he's not a huge threat to score inside and have been sitting on his passing lanes. The run he went on last season was kind of a fluke and I think people think he's further along than he really is.

None of them are Steph Curry.

According to Kings management Buddy is

Fox is Westbrook and Bagley is KD

no one in the current regime has ever said such a thing

I don't think I have seen a guy play as well as Herro through SL and preseason as a rookie and not become at least a quality starter. He is about as sure a thing as there is right now in that 2019 draft outside Zion.

Gotta hand it to Clyde he was 100% right about this kid. His scoring from all three levels and the handles he uses to choose his spots, its just so advanced for his age. I think he will become a guy worthy of being considered the 3rd in a big 3 sooner than later. Don't see him as a #2 on a true contender, but he has proven me wrong before.

It's wild that Knicks' fans are saying KP looks bad. I think he looks pretty damn good coming off such a long absence.

Pretty clear how important Adams is to OKC. Really liking what Diallo did to Luka. He could end up filling Roberson's role as a defensive stopper if Roberson can't come back healthy.

He needs to check his turn overs as was said but Trae's TS is 57.3 this preseason. Once his three starts dropping, and it will, Trae will be one of the more efficient high scoring PG's in the league.
