It won't get talked about much but the Nets played the 2nd to last defensive possession like they were up three with 5.9 seconds left, not 45.9.

That's where I thought to myself, next year with Ben Simmons the Nets will be in their final form. They really need a defensive anchor. It was shockingly bad defense on that possesion, the most important thing was to make the Nets bleed time, the worst thing was allowing a free layup.
