Don’t really get kawhi ranked so high. He’s probably not even top 5. Dudes missed a tonne of time and a bunch of guys playing better than him.

aside from Jokic,Embiid,Giannis, whos playing better than Kawhi? bring all the stats and his trumps anyone after bringing in wins also

Harden is playing better then kawhi. Dropped a 38 point 10 plus assis win in Los angles on the clippers without KD

Harden is playing good but doubt he gets media votes & Kawhi is still playing better by numbers/advanced numbers and has a better record currently

It's interesting because Harden is balling. I'm not a fan of his but you have to give credit where credit is due, the guy has been carrying the Nets and their record is right there with the other MVP contenders. When is the last time Durant even played?

He probably tanked his chances with his tantrums to start the year but on paper, he should be getting more respect as a candidate.

Harden just won the player of the month. He has led the led league points generated (points-and assists)in win shares the last 11 games and the Nets are 9-1 all the while he averaged 27 points 12 assists 10 boards on close to 50 percent from the floor and 46 percent from the 3pt line. Yep no one is playing better

Harden is without doubt playing better than kawhi right now. Add Steph To the 3 you said and that’s 5 guys playing better than kawhi.

I think Jokic should be the clear favorite now, Embiid will miss too many games. Btw Giannis is awe inspiring of a specimen to watch couldn’t imagine what he looks like on ground floor lol.
Watched a dunk from half court with 4 steps and euro step from the three point line to a dunk. Just different. How is me and him technically a human? Lmao god help the league if becomes an average shooter.

I actually hope Jokic and Embiid lose so this award will forever be discredited.

The fact that it took an Anthony Davis injury for LeBron to lose his narrative is a disgrace to logic and a disrespect to what it takes to go all out and dominate like those centers are right now.

Hate to break it to you, but Lebron's narrative is just hibernating. And he is still the Vegas favorite to win the Award.

Should he be? Of course not. But he is. And until another candidate steps up enough narrative wise in this lapse (Jokic made a big leap with the win tonight to be honest), that won't change.

After tonight I have it:

Jokic
Embiid
Lebron
Curry
Lillard

The same super team that he has carried without KD ? He has played KD 7 times in his 22 games and the last 10 straight with him. Guess what? They are 9-1 without KD. This narrative is hilarious

Harden isn't MVP. He won't win it either.

I just realized if Jokic or Embiid win thats 3 straight Mvps from non American players and maybe 3 straight Euros if Nikola wins

Nash, Nash, Dirk is the only other time thats happened IIRC and considering the outlook of the league with Jokic, Giannis, Embiid and Luka being top 5 players of this era it might even be more than 3 straight

Harden isn't MVP. He won't win it either.

Based on what? On play alone he will but the only thing is the 5 game tank narrative. I don’t know if he will it or not but based all the media voters you see he has a great chance now.

Harden has been great during the run, no doubt. His player of the month is well earned.

But you can't ignore that he tanked it in Houston. Voters won't forget that.

You also can't run away from the fact that at some point KD will be back, and will get some of Harden's shot opportunities. Note that Curry was winning MVPs until KD joined him, and afterwards Curry wasn't even in consideration...until this year.

Based on Embiid, Jokic and Lebron all having a bigger impact. Harden might come in 4th or 5th in MVP this year.

Watched that bucks game. Jokic is no joke. Larry bird if he was slightly taller and heavier, honestly.

Harden really? Since harden has been a net they have gone 16-6 . Seven of those without KD and 4 without Kyrie. So in those 22 games 11 have been without the Nets big two. Guess who’s kept them wining games?

Lebron went on a losing streak without AD. To say harden has no chance is farcical. He might not win it but to say he has no chance is downright ludicrous. He is at worst in the top 5
