If it's not ligament damage then in a game of this magnitude you play through it. Sitting this game out with a bruise is baffling.

I see it every day, I work in injury rehab, I work with athletes. In my opinion, it’s a soft decision. There’s no risk of making this specific ailment worse, it just hurts while you’re doing it. Could it effect his explosiveness, yeah, definitely. But to not even give it a go, sheesh.

I’m not saying you don’t know what you are talking about, you likely know that side more than I do if that’s your field of work, but I think we both agree that it’s about how much pain he could tolerate/work through. If he can only tolerate so much pain then what? All the tweets/info suggest he wanted to play, tried to see what could do but it just didn’t work for now atleast. Maybe game 6 is different
