If all the rookies teach their projected potential, will this draft go down as one of the best all time?

I can't quite pinpoint what it is about Barnes, but dude is a BEAST.

If he can ever develop his jumpshot he's 100% a superstar.

Believe it or not he actually has a jump shot, just not a 3 point shot. He's pretty good for a rookie inside the 3 point line.

Thanassis dropped 27 for the Bucks. Sandro dropped 28. They lost. Perfect example of why Cade shouldn't be in the ROY conversation with Mobley & Barnes. It's a lot easier to put up empty stats on a bottom dweller, than play impact minutes on a playoff / play-in team.

Gtfoh with that you trying to down Cade Toronto was already a playoffs team before Barnes got there and Mobley is overrated defensively Allen was the real real reason for Cleveland defense and him and garland was the main real they improved and don’t forget Rubio impact on that team before he went down to injury

Except for the fact that we were in the lotto and also lost our leader/floor general in the off-season. We weren’t expected to be In The playoff picture this season according what all the media projections said

Cade, Mobley and Green are going to be awesome, but objectively i don't think there's a player in the draft that has Barnes 2 way impact this year and going forwards.

If you want to argue Mobley over Barnes on defense fine, but then you'd still have to argue offense.

This of course goes with arguing Cade and Green on offense, but you'd have to make the case on defense too.

Interesting class to say the least.

Raptors were predicted to win ~ 35 games this season by most experts, especially after losing Lowry, which would put them squarely in the lottery again. Cavs were picked to finish even lower.

But that still doesn't address my point. Cade is playing with the pressure of Drew League. He has no repercussions for mistakes from his teammates or coach. In fact, they want him to lose games. Anybody can put up numbers like Cade, if they are given unlimited free reign to pass or shoot with zero pressure to win games. Even then, Cade only had 1 decent month in terms of efficiency for the whole season. All of the other months were absolutely horrid. I don't understand why Cade is even in the conversation with Mobley and Barnes.

Absolute rubbish. This shouldn't be a detriment to Cade at all. IMO his only slight is Mobley/Barnes have been great the whole year as opposed to only the second half of the season and efficiency. But you can legit make an argument that Cade has been the best rookie in March and one who has a highest ceiling as a shot creator over anyone in the class other than Green.

What about it? Mobley is still first in the most recent NBA ROY ladder as well as the favorite in the vegas odds. He's still the most likely to win.
