Not an easy game to accept 27 Denver points off Clippers turnovers, Kawhi **** game, Powell no show. Still had tons of chances to win.

My takeaway from this game is the same one I had going into the series Clippers have a way better team but the Nuggets have by far the best player.

And while true, it wasn't even the Jokic factor that was the biggest difference for the Clippers, it was turnovers. Denver turning up their intensity and making the Clippers feel them, and the Clippers just making some dumb decisions. They did enough to overcome the Jokic factor, and even to overcome Denver's defensive intensity and plan, but then killed it with their decision making, because even with the pressured turnovers, they had too many lazier and unforced ones they could have avoided.

Just a reminder that some people are not actually being honest when they say they are evaluating based on performance, but they are just doing so based on W/L and like one or two plays they catch

Denver really needs a playable 9th guy but they just can't ever be counted out with MVP Jokic and with Bubble Murray as a potential appearance.

They looked absolutely pathetic early on and still won. Wow.

Denver always do though. First quater was par for the course, playing like they don't belong. Feel like those bad starts are neccesary though a lot of the times.

The only solace for the Nuggets regarding MPJ is that his last year is only guaranteed for $12M essentially making him an expiring after next year. Good luck finding someone willing to eat his deal.

Nuggets would be better off putting his cap hit to better use. Who could they get? That's gonna be tough. Unless Durant says I only want Denver, they'll be in a rough spot. Pretty rough that he couldn't even get off the bench and it doesn't help that he gets loss on defensive rotations and can get picked on easily.

Dude stepped up in crunch time. Felt like he was the only one making plays down the wire in regulation and in OT.

Think Kawhi had like one midranger.

Also watching this game, just a reminder what a horrific job Denver has done with this roster.

Murray is still a ridiculously high USG guy that just takes horrible shots all game long and gets subbed out for defensive possessions. And I’m not sure MPJ even played 10 minutes in the 2nd half.

AG is awesome tho, him adding an actual jumpshot (and FT making ability) at his age with his accolades.he was hubmled I think, by Jokic and their friendship and brotherly love and inspired to be the best that he can be.CB is very solid too.

Murray had a dreadful game,he missed so many obvious passes to Jokic in deep position only to brick just off balance shot instead. usual Murray stuff. he did hustle on D tonight, i'll give him that

Nuggets got away with a lot of clutching & grabbing, Jokic literally held on to a player on the ground late in the 4th lol, entertaining game, this series will go 7.
