Nah what's dumb is people praising Jokic as if he accomplished something while getting blown out.

The attention should be on SGA the real MVP. Jokic has been eliminated the last 2 years. I'm tired of praising MVPs who don't get the job done in the playoffs.

SGA is HIM!

Charlotte fan saying Jokic hasn’t accomplished anything is pure comedy.

Shouldn't have brought in WB in the first place. The game turned the first minute he entered.

He was good vs the Clippers. Can’t rain all the time.

He was. Basically, he hit his wide open shots.

But his play this series was inevitable. What he did against LAC was the exception, and this series was the rule. Especially against this matchup.

99% guarantee it's an internal promotion. Their last three or four GM's have all been internal promotions. Maybe before that, too, but that's as far back as I know. Internal = cheap.

They actually had Ujiri (good) and let him walk for money, Connelly (good) and let him walk for money, and Booth (also good, imo) and let him go, apparently because of a personality clash with Malone. It's hard to imagine this string of genius-level internal hires could continue, but I guess we'll find out.

Denver ownership strikes me as an ownership that is glad as long as the team is relevant and making the playoffs and not in the red, they’re good. Jokic emerging into an all time player is something they probably didn’t foresee and is just an added bonus. The fact that he doesn’t threaten to leave, put pressure on the front office or really say anything media wise is the cherry on top for them. Most modern owners would love that.

Yeah and Booth was not good. He made zero moves and doubled that they'd run it back, which got himself and malone fired. What was needed was a brave move to trade away Murray/MPJ after bricking it last year. Extending Murray before it was needed and while he was extremely **** in the Olympics and start of the season.

To be clear Jokic is an ATG, Gordon is a really solid two way vet who fits Jokic. Adelman did a great job coaching ever since he was thrown into that spot.

The front office and the rest of the roster need a makeover.

It was an incredible run basically sustained by Jokic in all ways.

Dude, he's fine for a veterans minimum contract. Murray/MPJ are the problems with Denver.

The Thunder were one of the biggest favorites going into this series. The fact it went 7 is shocking.

Jokic showed up in the first half, as did Braun and an injured AG.

Murray and MPJ should never again be mentioned as legitimate “help” to an all time great. One great run doesn’t make a great 2nd option.
So what was your excuse last year?

This team has come up short the past 2 years with the best player in the world. Maybe Jokic needs to get serious about winning more championships and ask out?

Love Jokic but this is the first time I’ve seen someone say having 20 points in a blowout loss is “he did his part” lol nah

This. If this was a LeBron James led team, a sweep or 4-1 series loss would have been the result. Jokic is that kind of GOAT.

Correct. This team is like Lebron 1st run with Cle. The supporting cast is just too damn weak.

This is a good comparison yes. Difference is Jokic and LeBron; Jokic forced a Game 7, LeBron would have been swept

Difference between Jokic and LeBron is LeBron already accomplished his accolades and accomplishments. He's at worst the 2nd best player to ever play this game.

Jokic has a long way to go to get to Lebron's level. Getting blown out in a game 7 for the best player in the world is unacceptable.

2 straight years he's come up short in the playoffs. I remember when LeBron was the best player this would be a major discussion.

The Nuggets have only lost to two lower seeded teams in the playoffs: Blazers in 2019 and TWolves in 2024. The loss to the TWolves last season was arguably worse than this one. The TWolves loss was Jokic's first real "choke job" because the were up 20 and blew the lead.

Jokic and Nuggets still a damn good team. Unfortunately Gordon/MPJ and to an extent Murray don't show up.
