Did Curry average a triple double? He must've been close.

KD deserves fmvp. But curry was better in at least 3 out of 5 games

Yes but he lost the case after game 4. After that any mistakes he made today mad enough it look like he's shook.

Kd and curry probably had equal impact on the series, but crunch time u know who rob give the ball to.

What the hell did you watch....Durant 3 on lebron was game set and match in game 3...tonight he went nuts in the forth...while curry was sloppy as hell.

gonna be a dynasty in the making!

NBA gonna be boring for non-GSW fans......

There are different ways to be entertained by the game. There always great teams and players to watch, but I will probably not watch the playoffs until one of Curry and Dray are out of their primes(years?). I completely skipped the entire 2016 playoffs as it is, because I felt GS would steamroll.

Forgot Nash worked for warriors. What a jerk.

Also I like Kendrick but all his audio work in the finals is beyond awful.

GMs are gonna have to finally earn their pay this summer to create a roster that can seriously compete with Warriors and Cavs....where CP3 goes this summer is going to be the biggest story.

It feels like Durant hit most of the big **** and played defense. Curry had to be hidden on defense on the other hand.

He wasn't even the Cavs' priority on defense, they gave him the Harrison Barnes treatment, and credit to him, he capitalized in a big way, but that doesn't really scream superstar to me. And it seemed that Curry had more of an impact for the Warriors, just like LeBron had more of an impact for the Cavs. Durant is gonna be FMVP because he scored the hell out of the ball and played good defense, but it's hard to ignore that there were two guys that quite honestly seemed to affect the game more (LeBron and Curry), and that Durant wasn't even really the main focus of the opposing defense for the vast majority of the series.

really dude? :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Just calling it how I see it. He destroyed the 1 on 1 coverage, so he gets credit for that.

Thing is, most superstars don't get 1 on 1 coverage (sometimes 1 on 0 coverage) over the course of an entire game, or an entire series, or an entire playoffs, because the defense makes them their priority, and forces other guys to beat them. In GS, it seemed that the other guys were actually the defensive priorities, and Durant was the beneficiary of that.

I didn't see one defense these playoffs actually defend Durant the way he used to be defended in OKC, outside of some really short stretches, because everyone else on the team together, but especially Steph, scares them more.

The greatest on the greatest stage Finals MVP for a reason...Greatness....lol...You got one game...Be happy you werent swept...Thanks to Kyrie

Defense was optional the whole series. On both sides.

With the Warriors at least it's by design. They know they need to be just a little disruptive and with their firepower that's all they need. The Cavs, on the other hand, just plain sucked, whenever you had them make decisions. You can tell LeBron is frustrated because the Heatles were usually full of competent to excellent, high IQ defenders like Bosh, Wade, Haslem and Battier and he never had to deal with such utter idiocy on defense. I've seen high school teams make less mistakes on screen switches and rotating than the Cavs had tonight. Every possession, it seemed like, I saw somebody out of position, ball watching, not rotating, not boxing out, not contesting (including LeBron who was just as guilty). Communication, none. Just horrible defensive execution all around. You can tell they are good to great athletes and perfectly fine 1 on 1, but goodness gracious, you put them in motion and their bball IQ drops off a cliff. The Cavs defense seems built to contain ISOs and sucks at everything else. You make them think off ball and in motion and their feet get stuck in cement, it seems.

Credit to Steve Kerr and the Warriors for realizing how to exploit them.

On the other side, the Warriors managed to get away with absolutely zero rim protection. I mean none. If Kyrie could make a layup like he usually does, that game is much closer at the end. Funny thing is, as I mentioned, the Dubs didn't seem to care. Want a layup line? Sure. The Cavs were just not disciplined enough to go at them non-stop. L

true...but Curry did open up the floor tremendously...CURRY is the reason you can never double another Warrior without getting burnt
