Is Patterson supposed to be a bad 3PT shooter or something? Dude shot 37% (above average) at 4 3PT attempts last season. He just hasn't been used this season, taking half as many threes.

When he was with the Raptors I swear to god he'd never make his wide open 3 pointers. The only times he made them were when it was a blowout.

Also for the last couple of playoffs he's been shooting at ~30%.

On barely any attempts per game during those two PO stints--2 attempts and 1 attempt per game respectively. Quite the sample size you're trotting out here.

I would hesitate to shoot it at that % if I were him, too. Also, it's a 30-game sample size.
