Ja Morant needs to get a jumpshot if MEM wants to be anything more than 1st round fodder. Melton cannot be your go to guy down the stretch.

I really doubt Morant's numbers in this series would have been the same if Jazz treated him like a star guard...feel like they decided to let Ja get his and haven't respected his jump shot at all...he has gotten so many open looks from 3

They’ve treated him like a star. His shot just isn’t there yet. They decided to give him to 3 to try to stop his dominance inside

Like any good team would do

You can see that Conley is visibly annoyed by Donovan Mitchell for continually not passing him the ball here in foul situations. And he should be. Mitchell is being a ball-hog right now.

Ultimately a lot of this comes down to experience. Grizzlies have had chances to win every game that they’ve lost but down the stretch couldn’t finish it off

This experience for such a young team is gonna pay dividends for the future. Probably a 5 or 6 seed next year with continued development of their young guys and hopefully having JJJ throughout the season

Grizz are just too young. They got it down to 4, had the crowd behind them. Ja turnover, Conely three, bad shot, then offensive rebound leading to Bogdan three. That was the game.
