Honestly, the combination of Jokic missing some time and the Nuggets playing well without him is enough for me to drop him from the #1 spot. I gotta go with SGA #1 right now. Playing 5 full games more is a big difference and without the idea that the Nuggets are an all-time terrible supporting cast I don't think there's enough there for Joker to still be beating an incredible season from Shai.

I don't think they beat Boston, but they absolutely will get to the finals.

I'm extremely confident we get a Celtics Nuggets finals

Oh I think they will beat Boston. Jokic and AG will run havoc against Boston’s front court.

Meh, we are more worried about Cleveland right now than Denver.

You’re talking as though they went 5-0 in the games he’s missed. They’re 2-3.

Jokic right now leading the league in scoring. Probably only last a day or two but it does kind of confirm my belief that he could be the best scorer in the league if push came to shove.

Nice win for the Nugget last night, but it has to be said most of Clippers players looked like their heads weren't in the game right from the start, maybe they were thinking about the situation in LA right now with the fires and all, but it was just awful to watch, their defensive coverages were hilariously bad.

But still, the Nuggets showed in the last фев games that they aren't as bad without Jokic as they were earlier in the season (a very low bar admittedly).

First in scoring
Second in rebounding
Third in assists

Literally the GOAT regular season and we're seriously talking about giving it to someone else? HUH.

I'm pretty sure the Nuggets went 0-4 last time they played without him lol

I think Boston is one of the worst possible matchups for Denver. Denver is dead last in 3PA and gives up a ton of 3s, while the Celtics are 1st in 3PA. Boston would end up shooting 60 3's a game to Denver's 30. Good luck overcoming that.

It doesn't lol. The MVP is basically just an offensive stats award at this point.

We already saw push come to shove in the 2023 playoffs where he won a fmvp. Point being he's one of the most efficient volume scorers of all time and has no issue putting up 30ppg in playoff series.

So seeding matters in the conversation between SGA and Jokic but doesn’t matter for Wemby?

Wemby is now ranked 4th but the Spurs are a 10 seed and 1 game below .500.

5th in the NBA in steals. The only player in the top 13 of SPG who's not a guard. So yeah.

But I know, nerd stats are the only stats that matter.
