Nah, Denver's problem is they aren't a good team. Management was blessed with an ATG and made one shrewd move to build around him (Gordon).

Other than that the talent on this roster isn't close to a good team.

Honestly, this is often what teams with poor depth look like in a game 7 after a grueling series. Denver was like this last year too in the second half against Minnesota. Both the Warriors and Lakers (both with no real depth) just kind of died in their last game. I remember the mid-2000s Suns with their 6-man rotations just running out of gas in the conference finals.

Thunder go 10 deep, Nuggets for 7 deep and have 2 injured starters. What do you expect?

They are in the same boat as the Warriors. As long as they have that one superstar (Curry, Jokic) they’d be a playin team at least. Maybe an offseason move improves the team a tier, and that’s still a possibility.
