I'm not sure why he singled out Griffin. From what I saw CP was flopping a lot more. There was one particular play where Gordon was guarding him in the second quarter, CP was flailing around like crazy and got a call. I had to turn off the game in disgust.

Yeah, how did Wade not get ejected from that? It was a pretty egregious frustration foul.

Posters in this thread are being pretty short-sighed. Williams is saying Griffin is the center of the flopping in general, and I can't disagree. I think he and Paul have really cemented the culture of flopping in the locker room. You have Jordan and Evans flopping because they emulate Griffin.

If a guy actually does get hit is it still a flop or is it overreacting. All the hate is causing people to ignore the fact that in the slow motion video Vasquez clearly hit Evans with his foearm because he didn't like the blind screen he ran into. Evans fell down to make it look more violent than it was...but it was a foul.

fine. it was a foul (barely).

lets go back to the real point - the clippers flop/cheat. dont try and shift the focus to a small ticky tack foul from vazquez.

evans learned this pathetic move from cp3 and griffin. its clear what the clippers talk about in practice. i hope the nba cracks down on it - itll destroy the clippers game.

I remember a few years ago the NBA added a new rule against flopping. The refs could literally call it on the flopper. I have two questions. 1. Is this still a legit rule? 2. Has it EVER been called?

And Vasquez was indeed assessed a foul which caused him to foul out. It also looked like Evans grabbed Vasquez's a** which caused him to turn around so fast. We all know how Evans likes to grab other males' private parts.

I only cared to make a point about this play. I'm never going to try to deny that my team doesn't flop that be crazy. It's also crazy to make threads that total 10 pages or more about flopping after every Clippers game. I think it wouldn't even matter if the Clippers weren't relevant this year. I don't recall any CP3 flopping outrage last year.

I'm disappointed in Evans. His flops used to be so natural and fluid. Now look at him, he's hesitant and awkward. Clearly the pressure of being on the same team of such epic floppers has gotten to him.

No not just any male. He is saving himself for Kaman...who was wise to sit that game out.

I'll say it again, there's a reason Griffin keeps getting hard fouled.
