Dirk, do it again!

The scenes are from their sick 15 points comeback in less than 5 minutes. One of the sickest scoring sequences of a player i ever saw

Wow...incredible. If Dirk gets even close to what he did during last years WCF...they have a very good chance at the upset.

And people aren't even figuring what Kidd still has left. He's well rested and ready to go.

Delonte West was hit with the stomach flu and vomiting on Friday night. He might sit out Saturday's game. And even if he plays, he won't be 100%.

There's nobody else on the roster who is remotely capable of guarding Russell Westbrook or James Harden. Nobody. Mavs can't even afford to try Shawn Marion on those guys, because he'll have his hands full with Durant.

Without Delonte, the house of cards the Mavs built crumbles. The thought of Rodrigue Beaubois guarding Russell Westbrook makes me want to go puke myself.

No, Beaubois is a good defender, 2nd among guard in blocking shots.

But the offence runs better with West because he is also the backup PG

Westbrook is not unguardable.

He would be if the Mavs use Kidd, Carter, and Beaubois to man up on him. Without DeShawn Stevenson or Delonte West, the Mavs better resort to zone tonight. I don't see them guarding Westbrook man-on-man.

Seriously, even if they do win the series, I dont really understand how that can be a upset. They are the Champs, sure the Season was a frustrating one and there was alot of unconsistent basketball being played But now the cancer is out (Odom) and its time for the seniors to step up and show what they are capable off.

This is a team that has the players to get the job done.. two 20k+ point scorers, one of the greatest point guards of all time, cutch shooter in Terry, Matrix. What Dallas lack is probably their Big men, BUT.. Wright is more than capable of giving energetic minutes. It will be interesting to see how our Center rotation will be during the series, and I think that might determine the results.

As someone mentioned earlier, I really hope we make Westbrick a jumpshooter, and Im also hoping Marion can keep Durant at bay... If things go as I think it will, Mavs should really win this in 6. I say we go 1-1 first tow, then get 2... 3-1, thunder takes 1... 3-2, and we finish it off in game 6.

GO MAVS.... ~!~~~~!!!!!

the 2007 heat were the defending champs and they got swept out of the first round.

i have nothing against the mavs but objectively speaking, this is not the same team that won the title a year ago, not even close.

Dirk needs to play at an unholy level for the Mavs to have a chance to upset the Thunder team. I don't think that the Thunder are some unbeatable team, but from what we have seen from the Mavs this season, it is clear to me that they weren't serious about trying to repeat. They want to reload this offseason.
