Let's be honest though...Harden wouldn't have performed like this if he was still coming off the bench.

I think this was the best thing that happened to him. Starting minutes + max = Best motivation.

Rose did playing not as well as Harden has the first two games.

Harden has shut people up and so has Jeremy Lin. I am beyond shocked at how good James Harden is. He's without question in my mind better than Westbrook. If he keeps this up he's the second best player in the league and a better SG than Kobe or Wade.

Surely, he can't keep this up. Can he? I am serious about MVP. If Houston becomes a 50-win team and Harden averages 28 PPG, he's a lock IMO for MVP.

Obviously, he would be the 3rd option. Still think he was the second best player on that Thunder team.

I dont think you need PF that can rebound.You have asik for that damn 19 rebounds and 0 points.He might be the second coming of rodman with a better paint defense.

lin is playing beautifly , patterson excellent defense on josh smith, harden dunking on the ATL bigs including josh smith lol , ATL has tough inside D but we finally got a player that can put get into the paint and cause havoc

he wont keep it up because teams will double team him to death like ATL did in 1st quarter. They only stopped because LIN was open for easy jumpers because of it . Older vet teams will come up with a scheme to stop him but he can shoot even better than he can drive the paint. pick your poison

Let's not go there. Harden is probably not better than Durant. But I have no doubt that he is at least equal to Westbrook.

Posted something I learned on wiki in another thread. Harden's HS team won the CA state title two years in a row. Artesia HS went 33-1 and 33-2. Around the same time, in Div II, Jeremy Lin's team, Palo Alto, went 32-1 and also won the CA State Championship.

Lin darn near had a triple double himself tonight.

They are going to be really, really good together. Morey is Executive of the Year barring injuries, and they haven't even started playing their young guys off the bench.
