Brooklyn held Miami below 100 in 3 of the last 4. Indys D is way, way better than Brooklyn s. It definitely is not unrealistic for Indy to hold Miami in the 90s most of this series.

That's because Brooklyn played at a slow pace. Miami was great offensively in that series, they had a 118.9 ORating. Only reason why Brooklyn kept up in 4/5 games was because they had a great offensive series themselves, a 112.4 ORating.
Maybe the Pacers hold Miami back offensively better than Brooklyn did...but can they score as well as Brooklyn did? If they consistently hold Miami in the 90s...can they themselves consistently score in the 90s?

Hibbert is re engaged, especially defensively. Brooklyn has zero rim protection. Lebron won't be running a layup drill vs. Indy. Indy also plays extremely slow and guards transition extremely well. Plus Indy doesn't handle being favorites well. Being percieved as an underdog yet still having HCA means mentally tye team us likely to be in tge right place mentally.

Said this on the Heat board. Our maintenance program for WADE was for this series & the NBA Finals (If we make it back there). No excuses, he has to put up big numbers this series. As everybody could see our depth isn't as strong as the last two years & we can't rely on LeBron to be a one man show to beat the Pacers again. Most HEAT fans know that the Pacers play at a different level when they play us. A lot of other team fans think this series is going to be a cake walk but HEAT fans know the deal when it comes to Pacers vs HEAT. This series is going 6-7 max. No sweeps or 5 games at all
