Why edit your post ? Afraid to get banned? Funny how two Laker fans liked that garbage you wrote up.

You have to admit, that was pretty a entertaining rant. "THEY TRULY THE SCUM OF THE EARTH!!!!" In reality though, I saw the KPOP star and just and1 -ed it, then read the post. However, I do agree that stuff like that probably shouldn't be posted.

I will say that as a Bulls fan, I hate the Knicks and pistons more than any other franchise. So I will be frank by saying that I am a tad delighted to see the Knicks fall.

However, let's not act like it's doom and gloom for them here. The #4 in this draft may very well turn up better than the #1. The top 4 in this draft is a tight race with no clear frontrunner.

It still pains me that in 08 we had the gokden ticket in the Rose/Beasley and to a slightly lesser extent, mayo draft. Well low and behold the #4 and #5 (Westbrook, Love) both turned up better than the top 3.

Recently we've seen should've been top 3s in Curry and klay drafted well beyond pick #3. Damian lillard a top 3 went #6, as did Norlens Noel. Elfred Payton appears to be a top 3 guy from his draft and he went 10th. And so on.

I sure would like to have a top 4 pick in a top heavy draft. Good position to either draft a potential stud or maybe even trade the pick for a current stud like cousins or something of that nature

As a laker fan, i was just going to be happy to keep the pick, and take Winslow or hezonja at 5

Now being at 2. So excited

I've always been under the impression that the top 4 prospects were all roughly in the same tier, with Towns maybe a half-step ahead. Many scouts would put Porzingis there as well. The Knicks have a glaring need everywhere except SF, so they can just take whoever's left. Be that Okafor, Mudiay or Russell they'll end up with a great prospect regardless.

I'm just happy the Sixers got 3rd. High enough to get an elite PG prospect but not high enough to horde yet another top C prospect.

Unless the Lakers decide to draft Russell.

One of the players he gets compared to and is as skinny if not skinnier than him just won the MVP. He doesn't need to get in the weight room, he needs to get his handles and shooting to the most elite level they can get to, and to work on his conditioning to be as quick as he possibly can.

If you need help at multiple positions, then top 3 or 4 (or maybe even 5) draft positions this year are not that different from another. But getting #1 or #2 is nice if you are targeting a need. I guess Minnesota needs a big most, now they'll get their pick for sure. Had they picked #3, its possible they get the same exact player, or it's possible Okafor and Towns are both gone by their pick.

Obviously this probably changes 3 years from now with the benefit of hindsight, when probably a couple of the guys will emerge from the rest.

Congrats to the top 2-3 lottery teams, those are franchise players up there

On a conspiracy theory note, NBA rewarded the Wolves for sending Love to Lebron?

Yea I think Winslow is exactly what they need. That's not to say Russell would be a bad pick, but I really like Winslow.

They might want to change the draft format so the Cavs can get the number one pick next year.

What would have shown by now, more than making 95 threes in only 35 games on 41% as an 18 year old kid and the focal point of your team's offense?

And like I said, Curry is the MVP. No one said Russell will reach that level. But he could definitely become just a plain, regular all-star and a poor man's Curry. My point was that he doesn't need to hit the weight room to get there.

Fandom / NBA policy is not based on what other teams have done and gone through.

They played bad the last 2 seasons enough to deserve the #7 and number #2 pick. That's how the system works. As an example they Cavs don't deserve 3 # 1 picks and the return of LBJ just because their city hasn't had success in the NBA and other sports.

The Knicks don't deserve the number 2 spot over the Lakers because they have been poorly managed for decades. etc..

Of course fans think this might exist and or it's real. But it's not.

This is a little OT, but I'm not seeing Mudiay as an uber-athlete. He's good good size, a solid first step, and decent all-around PG skills (handle, vision, etc). But his hops seem pretty average for a prospect, and he's not insanely fast or anything.

This time last year, I started watching tape of him and expecting to see another version of D Rose but he's nowhere close to that level as an athlete. I don't think he's a garbage prospect or anything, just not seeing how he's a rare athlete.

I wonder if Philly would have traded down had they got the #1 pick.

19 year-old Tyreke seemed quicker (especially his unstoppable spin move) and more powerful. Tyreke can generally blow by NBA guys one-on-one and I don't think Mudiay will be able to do that most of the time. And Tyreke can overpower most guards and many forwards, while Mudiay will only have a huge strength advantage with smaller players (though many PGs).

I don't hate Mudiay, just think the description of him should be more 'a big PG with good all-around skills' than 'a super athlete with unlimited potential.'

no reason to be "low-key." Hop on board the bandwagon, feel free to come by the Sixers board too. Things are moving in a nice direction.

Sixers two years ago
Jrue Holiday
Thad Young
Evan Turner
Spencer Hawes
no cap space
11th pick in 2013 draft
owed future 1sts to Boston and Orlando

Sixers today
Embiid
Noel
Saric
3rd pick in draft
Owed future 1sts from LAL, Miami and OKC
Own 15 second round picks over the next 6 years (I know 2nd rounders aren't worth a ton but that number cracks me up)
Lots of cap space
No longer owe 1sts to anyone else
The feedback I've received from our fans is they understand we are trying to build something great. Good decisions come from having a broad set of options and making tough calls. We will do it unblinkingly. We have to be willing to take smart risks-Hinkie
