The physical tools are there etc can't teach that.
I don't see much bust potential , just don't expect him to be a roy or anything. Not a project but not even close to the projected ceiling.
He had a bad game.
Bridges has never been a clutch type player.

If guys like Lebron, Kobe, Garnett played in college, They wouldn't get bounced in the 1st round of the NCAA tournament.

The only big name prospects still playing going in the sweet 16- Bagley, Mikal Bridges and Shai Gilgeous Alexander, maybe Wendell Carter.

Towns, Wall, Davis all played on Kentucky. Kentucky doesn't get bounced in the first round because they're loaded.

And Michael Jordan? Who are you Skip Bayless?

Yeah, it depends how stacked teams are. Kentucky and Duke are always pretty stacked. Bagley and Carter will have extra hype because of their tourney run, much like Okafor and Winslow did when they won it all. But the whole Duke starting lineup is stacked and likely to go top 40.

Then a lot of the lesser seeded teams or small conference teams are full of juniors and seniors who have great chemistry, passion and fight, going against some raw top prospects.

UMBC had a couple good looks for 3 and can't make them. UMBC guys on offense got fouled a number of times and no call, I guess the referees don't want UMBC to advance. #30 Akin on UMBC is a bad free throw shooter.

UMBC had no business reaching the sweet 16, Kansas State can't lose to UMBC, etc, etc, etc but UMBC had so many chances to beat Kansas State its crazy. UMBC played as well as they could on defense, but so many blown opportunities by UMBC on offense, it's not funny. I kinda feel bad for UMBC in a way because they really have to celebrate being the 1st ever team to knock off a #1 seed, But what about try to put it behind you at least for now and focus right away on Kansas State. Get plenty of sleep, rest and focus on Kansas State but UMBC can't handle that stage because they were way too satisfied with knocking off #1 seed Virginia. Again UMBC had so many chances to beat Kansas State, They really should have got the win somehow, someway but too many blown chances.

So who should I watch out for in the Sweet Sixteen apart from Bagley/Duke?

Isn't JJJ's biggest upside that he has a skill set that could be ideal for a modern NBA big? He may not have superstar potential but they type of skill set as a C that ups they team's potential. Kinda like an Al Horford. He can move, defend, shoot with enticing range and looks at least comfortable putting the ball on the floor and passing rather than freezing with the ball and slowing an offense. Never a 25 ppg scorer but can defend and score/ shoot well enough that he's still very valuable.

Of teams picking high I could see Phoenix, Cleveland (with Lebron) and Dallas being good fits but Sacto, Atlanta and Orlando not as much with no potential top scoring options

Yeah your description sounds like right out of the scouting report except to me the long term ceiling is an elite first or 2nd option post presence that can stretch the floor defend 3-5 from the low post to the perimeter.
His athleticism is also silky smooth and an overlooked aspect of the upside.
Once he is in the league a couple seasons he should dominate. This guy is a better shot blocker than Ayton for example. If they switched teams Jackson usage rate offensively would have been higher as well and likely the projected draft positioning would be swapped. I would have no problem taking Jackson over Ayton if Doncic was taken.

I'm super excited right now. Clippers looking like they will have a pick at 10+12 or 13. With all of the guys slotted to be in that range like Shia, Knox, Zaire etc going off... it's gonna cause them to move up, others to fall. It also is becoming clear this draft is much deeper than expected, and picking out of the top 5 isn't that bad.

At 10 or 11 pick the Clippers are going to have some great options!! Finally excited about the draft for the first time in years.

It's amazing that in the entire South and West regions, the highest seed is a 3 seed in the sweet 16. And someone from those regions plays for the championship. 5 teams that are a 7 seed or lower. Meanwhile, on the other side you have 2 #1 seeds, 2 #2 seeds, a 3 seed and 2 5 seeds. Only 1 team lower than a 5 seed.

So one of these teams plays for the championship

Michigan
Gonzaga
Kentucky
Texas A&M
Nevada
Kansas St
Florida St
Loyola-Chicago

The one region everyone thought was the toughest has seen Virginia, Cincinnati, Tennessee and Arizona go down. Have the top 4 seeds of a region ever been eliminated before the sweet 16?

Are either of the NV twins NBA prospects? They're pretty athletic and have nice jumpers. Really long also

Loyola-Chi will get blown out in the second half. Nevada’s missed shots are what’s keeping them in the game.

Wagner looking good. Lame that his coach takes him out and talks to him when he's taking a **** on A&M. Such a college ball mentality.

Nevada keeps screwing around, it only helps Loyola’s confidence.
