That's not to say they could not have played better, and they will, but I'm talking about the doom and gloom after just about every mistake. As a fan watching the game, you want some context beyond oh they lost a game followed by every play being over-scrutinized which ends with some dire warning about what each may mean. So USA won't improve? They sucked yet were up 24; the final plays of the game - though Pop will have them watch film - were inconsequential to the outcome.

I was hoping for some balance and insight, and there was hardly any.

Someone please explain to me why Mitchell is getting so much praise on Team USA?

I think this is the 4th straight game that he shot under 50% from the field and had more turnovers than assists. I didn't watch the game, so maybe he was amazing, but 5-12 with 3 rbs, 4 assists and 5 TOs doesn't sound all that great to me.
