What did you improve, exactly? Okay let's say Kyrie is slightly better than Russell, IF Kyrie fits the team. Both are scoring PGs who don't play much defense. Which players on your team will play defense? I'm just wondering, cause most of the current players on your roster are negatives on defense.

They brought in 2 defenders in Garett Temple and David Nwabba but other than that there's not much defense on the team.
I think they'll be better next year when Durant is healthy to start the season and the players have a year in the system under their belt.

As far as Kyrie fitting the team, I think the offense should be tweaked to maximize the personell playing not make the players fit into a style based of analytics. I expect Kevin Durant to post up taking that out of his game would be stupid he's unstoppable shooting over players.

Kyrie has the playground style 1 on all it's going to be fun to watch. Go Nets!

Nwabba wont play more than likely as you got Lavert and the other kid who's a combo guard I forgot his name, the one who recruited Irving to your team.

Maybe not but Nwabba and GT are the wing defenders they have and both can defend more than just guards.
Last year was the first time in the playoffs for the coach and the GM. The emphasis isn't on defense it's all about the offense the coach will learn he's young.

I think you're thinking of Dinwiddie the backup point guard.
I got the burner-Kevin Durant

1 tear

Philly, Millwaukee. (I give small edge to Philly)

2 tear

Boston, Toronto, Brooklyn (Nets is the weakest team from these 3, but they could be TOP4 if TOR wings HRJ, Johnson, Powell and Anunoby will strugle a lot)

3 tear

Miami and Indiana

4 tear

Detroit, Orlando

5 tear

Atlnata, Chicaga, NY

6 tear

Washington, Cleveland and Chartlotte

Took me a minute to realize that this was bumped thread from the fall. No one can be this high on Philly any more, right?

Only crazy playoff run can save us, unfortunately

If the playoffs started today they would be facing Boston in the 1st round, I DONT want that.
You have to think they will get healthy for the playoffs and if healthy they have the ability to beat anyone.

I think the celtics will be the second seed at the end of the season.

Not as bad as I was expecting. Sixers being a serious contender and Raptors dropping deep into the lower half of the playoff teams are the most common bad predictions. Other than that, you have a few teams that are outperforming average expectations (Heat, Celtics), and a few that are underperforming average expectations (Pistons, Nets). But a lot of people did a decent job of predicting most of the teams that would be in the playoffs, even if some of the details are off.

Mine was relatively accurate. Got the 8 playoff teams right. Got the top 3 right. Only mistake was putting Magic over Heat.

You guys gotta give Nurse and the Raptors props. Same with Boston.

Only if there significant injuries. If Raps are healthy, they're a top 4 team

Heat, pistons, magic etc just have too many question marks.

Pacer don't get Oladipo back until later

Celtics have no frontcourt.

Even with our injures we got it.

What’s so shocking about it?

Raptors wing depth is Norman Powell, OG Anunoby, and Stanley Johnson.

Lowry will be 34, Gasol will be 35.

Norman and OG have killed it this season

This actually looks the most realistic.

Yeah if you're smoking crack. the Nets' roster going into 19-20 is improved.

lets see how this plays out. one team added talent while yours lost one of the top 3 basketball players in the world. i have a feeling these predictions about the Raptors still being a top team w/o Leonard will look hilarious by January.
