We never really got to experience a real Knick vs Net rivalry. I always only considered our biggest rivals to he Celtics. If your fanbase wasnt so dam cocky I would actually be really happy for yall. Both teams are headed in the right direction. I just get annoyed when media downplays the Knicks plan B. Im not gonna act like I didnt want KD after he tore his Achilles but my reasons were different. . If we didnt get Kawahi. I wanted KD to come solo and be a mentor to Knox and RJ. I understand that he wanted to play with his boy tho

Knicks fans already went through alot with signing injured stars. I really didnt wanna go through another Antonio Mcdyess, Amare or even KP.

Knicks never keep a young core so im happy that we chose to stick with the youth. Essentially we are doing a Brooklyn Nets rebuild. 2 years from now people will be looking at us different.

What rivalry? Y’all a 11th seed and we are a playoff team. A true rivalry is what’s going on in LA. Both playoff teams with potential to reach the finals. What’s going on in NY is one is a playoff team and a future contender and the other is a team that probably won’t win more than 22 games a season for the next few years.

Having 2 stars in your own backyard is enough to trigger some ppl, but a lot of Knick fans preferred a stable rebuild. As a bit of a honorary fan of the knicks, I’m down for the win now culture as well but signing an Injured player doesn’t fit that recipe and Kyrie doesn’t have the ingredients to lift the losingest team last year, he didnt even have it for the Celtics.

The jersey thing is a troll job but maybe it’s because we have all heard the jokes about the Nets 4 fans.

Durant and Irving were never going to the Knicks regardless of the injury.

Kyrie was never going to Knicks

The injury changed everything tho for Kd

But no point in going back and fourth about this. The truth will come out eventually.

No, it didn't.

"If I was leaving the Warriors, it was always going to be for the Nets," Durant said. "They got the pieces and a creative front office. I just like what they were building."

He added, "The basketball was appealing."

Knicks treat their players (ex and current) like dirt and didn't secure any top FA meetings. Ask...Ewing, Oakley, Kanter, KP, Melo, D.Jordan, etc. Ever wonder why none of their legends work for them? Things may change if Dolan sells.

Net fans do not care if the Knicks have more fans. Nets are simply the better organization top to bottom and all that matters.

It was always going to be the nets but the nets didn’t even get cap room until late In the game. Meaning Brooklyn is more of a spontaneous move.

They had cap room and then got more cap room. Do you really think they did that just in case? Do you really think the Nets only found out at 6pm on KDs Instagram or wherever he put it? I think that's rather naive to think personally.

Funny how you only acknowledge that there was obvious tampering only when it fits your narrative lol

Of course there was and I've said it for some time. It happens all the time and why the league had to address it. The Nets and Clippers were rather blatant.

It took a knicks tank for the nets to get out of the division cellar.
Now nets want to say there is no rivalry.
Rivalry can be subjective, but they are in the same division so there’s no gray area here.

Image be real. You want the worse from this Achilles injury cause he’s a net. If he was wearing Blue and orange you’d be preaching something different like you was before free agency and I can go pull all of your posts being hopeful for KD even after his injury

So you gonna pull up posts about me asking what exactly our plan was after the Kawahi reports? Lmao the fact that you went through all that trouble proves how insecure you nets fans are

Or that you changed your tune after he went to the Nets. Own up to it you got called out.

This post is unbelievably misinformed (forgetting the KD "always Nets" thing which reeks of BS for a number of reasons).

You do realize that arguably the best Knick of all time has been broadcasting Knick games for decades, right? That Ewing is so hated by the team that he just represented them in the lottery. Allan Houston has worked for the team since 2008. John Starks and Larry Johnson also officially work for the team. You're just clearly making stuff up to fit your agenda.

Listing De'Andre Jordan as an ex Knick who got treated like dirt? You were serious when you put his name in there? The only reason he went to the Nets was because they found 10m for him. He had nothing but good things to say about the team on his way out. Listing Melo when they gave him a massive contract with a no trade is also pretty laughable.

Again, tout the Nets, they've done well, but now you're just blatantly making things up about the Knicks. The Nets are talked about by Nets fans here as if they are the golden franchise of the NBA, despite their best player having a career threatening injury, another FA signing busted for PEDs, and one of their best young players arrested for possible domestic violence.

Lmao and you were saying?

I was asking a question on the Knicks board on what our plan was

Knicks already dealt with Amare. I didnt wanna do the same with KD coming off the worse injury in basketball

- Our “best player” is ahead of schedule by 3 months...pretty good for a career threatening injury.

- Chandler was suspended for taking a product in May...before he even was a free agent. The PED results came out after he signed.

- Kurucs will be disciplined but his arrest has no barring on our team beyond his own mistakes. It probably means we sign Melo or something

We’ve dealt with D’angelo being cited for weed before free agency. It comes with the territory of New York but none of that is changing the hardworking, team first and unselfish culture instilled with Dinwiddie, LeVert, Harris, Allen, Pinson.

That’s an agenda post, FYI.

Wait, are you saying MY post is an agenda post, when the person I was responding to mentioned Knicks treated badly and De'andre Jordan in the same sentence? Saying none of their legends work for them when I named four off the bat?

Saying Kurucs will be disciplined but his arrest won't have any barring on his team when every single Nets fan here touts Kurucs as a building block? Minimizing the severity of the accusations? It means signing Melo who has not been a good fit anywhere for the past 4-5 years? That Melo? Good luck with that.

Also, show me where KD is three months ahead of schedule, whatever that means. Once again a Net fan here absolutely minimizes the potential effect such an injury has.

Talking about culture and saying Russell's bust for weed "comes with the territory of New York." It's you and other Nets fans who are making things up or minimizing facts to fit your own agenda. It's clear as day. The Nets is the team right now with the drama surrounding it, good and bad, not the Knicks.

THAT is an agenda post if I've ever seen one.
