Are people in this thread serious or trolling? Did everything before the last game stop counting? Kawhi didn’t have a good playoffs? He carried them past DAL and was getting triple teamed. DEN tilted their entire defense towards him and even playing 40 min per game the entire bubble and his leg starting to bother him he still had great games and went off in game 5 where it should’ve ended

He had 2 complete duds and a mediocre game in the Denver series. Overall 24 ppg on the series 54.8 TS% for a superstar player whose main offensive value is scoring. Not a good finish for any star player

No he didn’t. And his defense was fantastic in the game he did play badly in. Considering DEN was defending him with their entire team and he was LA’s only point guard for much of the playoffs, I wouldn’t say his main offensive value is only scoring. His teammates were open. The Raps greatly missed not just his scoring but the “Kawhi affect” in the playoffs aka all the attention on him.

I mean I see people saying Lebron is having a great postseason despite him having multiple bad games and being bailed out by AD. I think we’re used to Kawhi never having a bad playoff game and carrying the team when needed but the Clips were a mess.

They're not that good, just better than the field right now, which is completely watered down with no Warriors or Nets (KD) + the Clippers **** the bed. Good for them, no disrespect but they wont go down as a great team and I don't think they make the finals next season.

Hard disagree. Lebron + AD together changes everything. This Lakers team would have a decent chance against any of those Warriors teams. Who's guarding AD?

Lakers have to be the odds on favorite to make Finals next year even with their underwhelming supporting cast.

Going small and zoning up against them doesn't work. Lakers interior passing is too good and Lebron and AD are too good at bully ball.

Going big against them might work in the right match up but what's the match up?

This team would get absolutely smacked by any of those GSW teams.

Seriously wtf are people smoking, this Lakers team isn't even that good. GSW wipes them in 5. The Lakers interior D is there strong point cause of AD but an elite shooting team with a legit superstar instead of Butler would punish them
