Personally I think the Sixers is going to be a problem.

That's the obvious choice, and it may be them, but as long time Laker fans, it always seemed to be the team you least expected...

Thinking like the Hawks... I would have said the Hornets if Ball was healthy but now... Celtics?

hawks cant out shoot the nets , and will trouble boxing out the nets. and you cant hide trae with rondo beign traded now.. so no not them

Aldridge can body up Embiid a little bit. Basically the only chance sixers have is for Embiid to go nuclear vs nets. Aldridge and Griffith can be also use up fouls against Giannis.

I see zero way for sixers or bucks to beat nets.

The easiest solution to this is that players bought out, or waived (clearing waivers) are not eligible for the playoffs.

If you're waived but claimed, then your eligible.

Where do the minutes come from? The starting frontcourt will eventually be Harris/Durant/Jordan. Nash loves Jeff Green. Claxton has is playing really well. Griffin was brought in as a small ball C.

My guess is Claxton will get short end of the stick which will be a shame because he has excelled at their whole switch everything on defense.

unless embiid drops 60 every night don't count on the sixers to beat that nets team if healthy

That just isn't the case anymore. The buyout market 100% addresses super teams weaknesses.

I mean good for the nets and the Lakers but it's just It's starting to make the NBA so much less competitive and so much less watchable.

Dude why is it good for us lol? We haven't even acquired anyone.

You guys constantly get buyout players. I fully expect you guys to land Drummond unless the Knicks do something stupid and give him a multi-year contract

durant is in love with kitty-kat plastic rings at this point, already got two with a 73-9 win warriors team who were the massive title favorites without him.

Lamarcus has been a shell of his former self. Calm down, Griffin & Aldridge are pretty much toast. Another GB special of overreaction smh.

And failed. Because they needed a scorer that could consistently create for himself in tight situations without relying on screens and motion offenses. Two years later, two time finals MVP.

I guess KD just wants to limit how great he can be

1mvp

No impressive moments under pressure (he choked those ones)

I don't even know if KD wins the fmvp with this team, seems like Harden would

This nets team can legit get to the ECF, get to the finals, and maybe even win it all w/o KD

What would the Lakers be w/o Lebron? They wouldn't even make the playoffs, but if they did, A 1st round loss likely

What about the Mavs w/o Luka? Not a playoff team

Etc

all this just to compete against a 36 year old.

Lebron going to have to singlehandedly beat 7 all stars this season lol.

No he cannot.

Aldridge has his pros and cons.

Holding his own against top big men is a huge con.

He gets outbodied by Robin Lopez.

Yep, because it was KD who's at fault for the Nets signing Harden, Blake and Aldridge.

What fault does he have that other players want to play with him? Isn't that what Lebron has benefitted from his entire career?
