We need a WWE situation where someone distracts the ref and a steel chair to the back happens. Then we're really talking.

OP's options are like

1) No penalty
2) Death
Comments to rationalize bad contracts -
1) It's less than the MLE
2) He can be traded later
3) It's only __% of the cap
4) The cap is going up
5) It's only __ years
6) He's a good mentor/locker room guy

Wow, that coach showed better defensive instincts than James Harden in his career!

HardenGoat wrote:this game had some clear fouls on Harden not called again, one of which was flagrant worthy. Kuzma got away with a couple fouls one on Mills that was a blatant push down. Also they gave the ball to Wizards after Kyrie had a late shot clock hit the rim and Nets got possession. They replayed the shot hitting the rim and still gave it the the Wizards?? Was that a payback thing? Any of those called right for the Nets would have resulted in more Net points and less Wizard points. But lets just dwell on one missed play.

And you don't think that the Wiz had any calls that didn't go their way the whole game besides this. I can't take someone seriously complaining about Harden non calls when his name is hardengoat. You might even be James himself... Lol

The Nets addressed defense while all of you were talking about their incompetence on that end. Without even needing a trade.

That’s a bit… aggressive

No need for all that. A decent suspension with loss of pay should be enough.

Guessing its just cause its the Nets but some of these takes and the poll options are just ridiculous lol. I say let’s eliminate the entire Nets organization from the league forever and off with this guys head… UNACCEPTABLE!!!

This didn't involve any cheating or interference by players or coaches, but my favorite oblivious reffing moment that I saw when it happened was when Manu Ginobili made a three pointer against the Knicks and refs didn't count it.

It was intended to be a lob to Aldridge, but it went in the basket, hit the floor, and bounced back into the court. Michael Beasley picked it up as if it was live ball rebound and started dribbling the other way. Beasley said after the game that he didn't realize the ball went in the basket.

Play continued to the other end while Manu screamed at the refs. Eventually they blew a whistle and counted the basket, but as a two pointer. Then they reviewed it during a break to see if it was a two or a three, and corrected it to a three. So they got it wrong twice, and only used replay to check if Manu's feet were behind the line.

Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

It should be a very serious penalty if someone that's not a player cheats and influences the result of a game. Fans didn't spend a lot of money to rock up and watch the Nets assistant cheat them from a real game.

The fact they actually went backwards in regards to replay before the season started is absurd. Why was the automatic replays under two minutes taken out? Like I mentioned before real money is being betted on. Nba probably won't do anything till they caught a lawsuit.

Yeah, makes no sense. Should have been a 2 game suspension type of thing.

It was a fine. I would have liked to see a couple of games, but this wasn't Malice at the Palace stuff.

Well I would do it in a close game in the playoffs since precedent has been set

Horrible penalty for this infraction. If I'm a coach, I absolutely tell my assistant coaches during a critical game to interfere if possible.

35,000$ to win a game? That's like 5 minutes salary for some NBA players. Well worth it.

Oh hell yea. It’s game on if that’s all the penalty is for this. What an idiotic league.

To be fair 25k is probably one tenth of his salary. suspending him two game probably end up costing him less money than the fine.

Chop his hands off and then let’s see how effective he is in getting in the passing lane.
