The 2017 league MVP also said that LeBron James' and Anthony Davis' repeated intentions to "let Russ be Russ" in unlocking the best version of the former All-Star were disingenuous.

"Yeah, [they said it]," Westbrook said. "But that wasn't true."

the amount of ego a man has to have to endure 20k home fans booing you, a coaching staff that doesnt like you, and calling out a top 5 all time player and duo (trio if you want to include Vogel) that just won a (bubble) championship 2 years ago and come out of that experience saying "everyone else was the problem" is just unfathomable to me. this man is living in a different UNIVERSE than the rest of us

ego for saying the truth?, they dont let him play his way, or make him play SG ike dantoni did

and still played 78 games, 38 more than day to davis and 22 more than the other stat padder

they change the game plan for him every game, u can see it if u know Russ, but u dont, u are only haters hating on him

btw hornets are a suitor for him

a shame because he make u a playoff team, Lamelo can learn something to being more than a peasant star
Guess what

if KD and Harden had a hypothetical LaMelo instead of Westbrook they would have won a chip in their tenure with OKC. You shttin me..

As someone who was raised by one, Westbrook comes across as a grade-A narcissist.

He’s a guy who only does things HIS way & when things don’t go well, everyone else involved is at fault.

People like that believe that everything they do is justified & if you don’t agree, then you just don’t understand.

Whatever they do from here on out I hope they disregard LeBron's opinion. The last thing the lakers need is to be saddled with a coach like Mark Jackson or David Fizdale.

Does Harden also shoot 37%/31% in this scenario or is it suddenly MVP Harden as 22 year old, instead of 12 ppg shoot really poorly Harden?´

I always find in these fantasy scenarios fans who never watched OKC always think Harden was a player he would become 3-4 years later, instead of still having a lot of inconsistencies in his game.

I concur, but your forgot to list the biggest advantage of having almost infinite free construction material during the whole season! Now that's a real bargain!

Maybe because you lead the league in turnovers Russ. Russ, the least selfware player in the league.

They'll ship him to Indiana.

Hield Brogdom for frp and wb

There are rumors that Rick Carlisle would be kicked upstairs and take an executive Job. They might be interested in re-hiring a coach that that success with them.
They hire Frank Vogel, then trade Hield and Brogdon for Russ Westbrook. Imagine the first day of training camp when Frank and Russ meet again.

It's also weird that Russell thinks being criticized or being asked to take on a different role is someone having an "issue" with him.

He has a great deal of issues. He won't ever come to terms with.
