Both will probably be done round 2.

Let's just hope both teams have a healthy playoff run and see where they end up even though the east is deeper .
and he deserved them, as he played better than both in the playoffs

Nuggets should be thankful these two teams are in seperate conferences becauses Embiid would cook him in any match up. Embiid made him look like a bench player.

Grow up dude. Jokic will soon be a 3xMVP.
3 consecutive times. With no stars around him.
That has nothing to do with conferences.
Jokic didn't even dress up against Giannis the other day. Because it doesn't matter. It's one game.
His playoffs appearances are better than his regular season but haters gonna hate i guess.

Some of you need to learn to appreciate greatness instead of being toxic for no reason.

His playoffs don't amount to much year in and year out. And the fact that he's a 2-time MVP, possibly going on 3, he should not be left off the hook. Lebron wasn't back in the early 00's despite him doing more with less than Jokic. Not sure why everyone is suddenly a Jokic fanatic now despite zero playoff successs. Also. There is nothing "toxic" about bringing light the short comings of your favorite guy. We're here to talk ball, not priase every single player without zero criticism being mentioned. Perhaps you need to revalute the points in the OP instead of catching feelings.

1. Jokic is not LeBron.
Just like Barkley wasn't Jordan. So?

2. The one time the Nuggets were healthy in the playoffs, they went to the conference finals by overcoming a 1-3 deficit by the clippers. Why don't you bring this up? It isn't convenient?

3. What exactly was he supposed to do in the playoffs with Barton as the 2nd option? Win the series? Who would do it? Giannis took the series against the Celtics to 7 games last season without Middleton who's a 3xAllstar, a gold medalist etc. Am i supposed to blame him because he didn't win despite dropping a 34/15/7 series?

Perhaps, you should be more out of your feelings. Context matters. The Nuggets are a top team this season because they're relatively healthy. And Jokic is even better than his MVP seasons.

Embiid getting conference playoff baskets, Siakam getting NBA finals baskets.

Kahwhi has hernias to this day from carrying that team. But lets act like Siakim was that guy  .

well Embiid ain't carrying any team from what we know, to this day.

Embiid was going to win it 2 years ago but was injured late in the season. Jokic then won it. To act like it's some big gap makes no sense. They're both monsters out there.

No he wasnt , stop spewing the nonsense. There was debate between Bontamps and Windhorst about the same subject two seasons ago, where he stomped Windhorst claiming the same. He was never going to win MVP award, he was never favorite except on ESPN and FOX television.

Jokic single-handedly took a game. As in the rest of his team would barely be favorites to win a G-league title without him. The point

He doesn't have another all-star on his team, let alone a superstar (Harden) and budding all-star (Maxey).

Neither were Allstars last year. James Harden is no longer a superstar lol Jamal Murray carried Jokic for a whole series in the playoffs something Embiid has never experienced even while dealing with injuries in multiple playoffs. Stop the cap

Hardens advanced stats say he’s still a superstar, thus he is. Your opinion on whether he is or isn’t doesn’t matter. Hence, my username homie.

Because that fits your narrative. Hes definitely looks better this season now that hes healthy and is a top playmaker though maybe even better than Jokic.

This is a disingeniuous argument and I hope you're trolling.

Jokic isn't comparable to Nash, he's comparable to Larry Bird and/or Magic Johnson. I posted about that yesterday in a thread too. He sees massive upticks for all his averages in the playoffs which means he's coasting his way to MVPs left and right lol. Career 20/10/6.5 whose numbers increase to 26.5/11.5/6.5.

Embiid is not comparable to Kobe and Shaq either. He sees massive downticks in all his averages meaning he shrinks during the playoffs. Career 27/11/3.5 guy whose numbers fall to 24/11/3 in the playoffs (and I'm being nice and bumping the numbers up).

If we want to make terrible comparisons to troll each other - which okay whatever - then how about this one?

Jokic is the modern Tim Duncan. Not in play style but in terms of impact and the uptick during the playoffs. Plus, Duncan and Hakeem's favorite player.

Dude just stop your jokic boner is turning your brain to mush. Comparing no defense Jokic to Bird , Magic and Duncan is crazy

I'm picking the Sixers. They have a strong core in place and will be a tough out in the East. The West is going to have really strong teams in lower seeds due to injury. Teams like the Lakers, Pelicans, Warriors, Suns, Mavericks could all be lower seeds waiting to upset a top seed. If I'm betting on this I'm putting my money on the 76'ers to go further.
