Yeah can you imagine Ja and Arenas backcourt. Talk about deadly firepower in the backcourt

they definitely would empty the clip.

I wonder if the Kamara situation where he is facing jail time/bad pr from the new videos played into taking a harsher stance.

Who is to say that they didnt talk to him before and this is not the first time with Ja.

Well so much for Ja being the future American face of the league although he could be this generation’s Iverson. I think Tatum’s all alone now.

I thought all professional sports leagues had like onboarding training for rookies telling them about coming into this newfound money and fame and ways to deal with it. What Ja probably needs is a rich older mentor like Jay-Z was for Lebron or something or maybe Jay-Z could help him out. There’s one thing that Jay is about and stresses to others: dont f**** up the money.

Seriously. He's doing typical athlete hijinks and people acting like he's trying to be a criminal lol.

I mean, the stories surrounding him aren't really 'typical'.

Recklessly brandishing a firearm in public is illegal.

I’m not sure that meets the definition of brandishing. I don’t know the firearm laws in Colorado. In Arizona - what he did is legal.

Now if this is a moral code or policy that’s a different story. I’m just suggesting I don’t think what he did is that inherently bad

He's at a night club.. the odds of him being sober I'd argue are slim to none. You must maintain absolute sobriety in order to be in possession of a firearm. Either way, he looks like an absolute idiot with zero respect for personal safety or the safety of others. Common sense sure isn't common.

Do you really think that his coach and team who have backed him through the last 25 of these ordeals would throw him under the bus if it weren’t warranted?

Come on. Think.

Even carrying a gun on his person in CA may be illegal.

Also maybe in Colorado as well.

Plexico Burress paid a heavy price for having a gun in NYC.

Not gonna bash Ja like the "holier than thou" crowd, but I do hope he gets it together quick. The guy is way to talented and smart to be involving himself in some of the things he's been involved in.

True, brandishing may be the wrong term (arguably), but recklessly displaying or handling a firearm is illegal in every state. It's a federal crime, too.

Even with a permit anything classified as a bar, is usually not legal to carry.

You hit a point in life where you gotta leave that **** behind, including those people if they can’t get it straight. If not it’s gonna cost him insane amounts of money, hopefully it doesn’t cost him his life. Some vets need to sit his ass down and have a chat

How many star players have ever been suspended by their team?

I can't recall the Jazz ever doing it. Maybe before I started watching though?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

The firearm discharging was an aggravating factor in the Plaxico incident, but Ja wasn't simply carrying that weapon. The problem lies in the manner in which he handled/displayed it.
