Calling it now, the Celtics are going to be insane if they stay healthy. Porzingis was lowkey balling last season, especially towards the end of the year. Brogdon moves to the starting PG slot, a more natural PG which the Celtics desperately need who doesn't take five ill-advised 3s a game. Moving on from Smart was the right move.

I am of the opinion that smart is overrated. In the most important game of the season, white was their go to guy and a half way decent defender.

I think the Celtics did pretty well when looking at big picture and the picks they got.

The wizards, ummm they can’t get a 1st rounder I guess.

The griz I get needed smart because of the ja situation and smart is a known quantity.

Basically White turned into better Marcus Smart this year with better shooting and Smart's defense fell off.

White, Brown, Tatum, Porzingis, RWill is an offensive and defensive monster lineup.

I think there is more work to be done but easy W imo

Ball movement sucks on that lineup. White needs to be replaced with a pass first PG or there will be a lot of contested 3 pointers jacked up in the playoffs.

Stevens had seen enough in the Playoffs. Marcus Smart took multiple game winning shots without timeouts that he mostly bricked. Won't let that happen again.

Can Boston turn around and use one of those picks to trade for Tyus haha. Because Tyus would be the ideal guy for that starting lineup. Especially if Smart is gone.

Or use those picks to flip Jaylen for BI. Make it happen!!!

I get BOS will miss Marcus Smart but let's also be real here.

He played really bad in the PO's close out games and Finals 2yrs ago and not too well in crunch time this past ECF's.

BOS now has Grant Williams to S&T along with Robert Williams and picks, heck they even have Brown still as a chip to make a play for say a Dame Lillard once Scoot falls to #3 as projected.

I like Marcus Smart and appreciate his leadership and his defensive prowess but I think he's getting greatly overrated on here. That leadership did not do much during the playoffs this year..at least not nearly enough and in the finals against the Warriors either. They had to try something else.

I think they won the deal especially since they got back 2 firsts. I know Porzingis is injury prone but so is Smart. Porzingis as a 3rd option is scary. Boston can add depth in FA and in this year's draft. I think they will be better off from this trade

Wizards got a very underrated PG in Tyus Jones who has had one of the best, if not the best, TO/Assist ratio for the last few years. I think this kid can really play and I like it for the Wizards although I think they should of gotten a pick for giving up Porzingis

The Grizzlies will miss Tyus especially with Ja's suspension but I do like them adding Smart. They will probably be the best defensive team in the league as they have the last 2 DPOY on the same team and Smart will be a good veteran presence for Ja

Good overall trade for everyone tho

Smart is a big loss. 15/5/4 in the post season with good defense.

We'll see how it plays out...Porzingis had a pretty great year.

nah I feel like White is a good enough passer and the floor spacing is insane especially with the inside threat of Timelord.

The Celtics were playing some great basketball when White was starting. Yikes Brogdon injury must be bad.

I wonder who besides Danilo will be traded? I can’t see them trading Horford & Smart. Probably Muscala & a minimum contract.
