I'm surprised how hard they are finding it to fit Harden. Its not only pushed Westbrook out of the minimum viable role he was fulfilling effectively but he seems to have knocked Kawii off rhythm as well.

There's a reason why this mostly healthy 34-year-old former MVP is making less than $4 million this season.
Lol @ you trying to make 34 look young by adding the caveat of mostly healthy. Anyway, he's making this amount of money because the media made sure he was either out of the league or underpaid. Luckily, the players matter more than the suited up clowns on TV and they're doing what they can to salvage what's left of his career. If it wasn't for them, media would've been praising the fact that he's out of the league.
How much should someone shooting 42% and 29% from 3 make?

Now posting the worst TS% of his career and second highest turnover rate.

Westbrook is awfully struggling as bench, but Harden is kind of his Kryptonite.

Re: "If Westbrook don't be careful, he will find himself out of the league come next year"
The terrible fit of Russ anf Harden is entirely about pace.
Harden and LeBron have same pace, slow methodical take up the court with half court offense (sometimes LeBron quarterbacks a pass up court).
Maxey and Westbrook are similar with their rush up the court to get in to offense before opponent is set. It's amazing to me how similar Maxey is to Westbrook except Maxey can shoot.
Thee style of Maxey and Westbrook seems to struggle with the slower pace of LeBron and Harden.
Westbrook would actually be a good fit on 76ers.

I'd be in favor of the Clippers trading Westbrook ASAP- Bones should be playing instead of him

perhaps the sixers would want him- the post I was replying to mentioned that.
If necessary, just bench him. If he doesn't like it? Who cares? They can't afford to keep losing games or they won't even make the play in

LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

He's on a vet min contract. That means he's on his way out of the league. Players with a future in the league make more than vet min.

I guess the OP's abandoned this thread. Waiting for one 7/16 shooting performance to jump back in with quotes about how everyone loves Russ and he's the heart and soul of Los Angeles basketball and how his dealerships consistently exceed quarterly sales goals.

Lol- Realgm hate luckily doesn't have currency in the front offices. Players go through slumps. Last few people who posted are quiet as a church mice during his great performances. Normal stuff.

These are mostly Bron stans who won't forgive Westbrook until they find another scapegoat that they're mad at. They did it with Ingram, Kuzma, Kyrie, Vogel, Dwight and etc.
If they lose again this year, they'll move on to DLo Full-time along with Ham. Maybe Vincent and Wood.
Rinse and repeat until he retires.

You know what else exists? A 4000 word opus by Shams detailing exactly how Russ came to Lakers. In short, yes it was Lebron and AD who made that happen. Russ obviously pushed hard for it too but that deal doesn't get done without Bron and AD. They were the ones running the "war room" meetings, basically interviewing guys for the job.
As for Russ's time on the Lakers...he posted the two highest FG% of his career in Houston and then Clippers last year. He was instrumental in Washington's push to make the playoffs. He was terrible on the Lakers, but less terrible when Lebron was off the court. I think it's fair to say the fit was bad just like it is with this year's Clippers team having so many guys who need the ball.

Looking at the participants. It's the usual stanbase who were salty after Russell's series again PHX. Most of you gusya re still looking for closure and will reappear when he has a bad game. You guys tried it with Ingram, Monk, Clarkson and several others but you've moved on. Russ is an easy target but eventually most of you will move on to someone who's currently on the roster.
