(The year probably gives it away but it may have happened another time I just don't recall)

Jermaine O'Neal scored 55 points 42 days after Malice at the Palace.

I had 13 seasons in the NBA where I scored 17.4 points per game or more, but no season with more than 20.8 ppg. Who am I?

(I believe there are two)

Larry Hughes was my correct guess. I didn't think of Brendan Haywood, but looked him up and he came back for a final year, after missing the whole previous year with injury, and also played with LeBron.

Definitely Duncan Robinson. Was there anybody else?
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

I was not including them since they did have seasons where they played C more than PF I do believe.

Okay, so I assume Dirk wouldn't count as well since he played a lot of 5 during some seasons.

I was thinking someone who wasn't a huge shot blocker but played an absurd amount of games (like Dirk). But Kirilenko is a good answer.

The question was a bit vague so I'll let you know who I was thinking. Larry Nance Sr. #19 on the all time list and I can't recall him ever playing center except as injury replacement for a game.

Interesting, because that's contrary to what's found on the interwebs
"Coach, why don't you just relax? We're not good enough to beat the Lakers. We've had a great year, why don't you just relax and cool down?"

Really easy one:

The Lakers' 33 game win streak started immediately after what event?

Open-ended:

Which NBA team executives played in the top pro league of another sport?

I can think of one obvious example, but perhaps there are more.

Same question for NBA head coaches.

I can think of two examples.

I know that Elgin Baylor retired early in the season. So I guess the win streak started after that?

Yep. The first game after his retirement announcement.

Okay here's one that is probably easy, although there's another team I had in mind:

There are two NBA franchises where the leader in career points has more than twice as many points as the player in second place. Who are the two franchises (and the players)?

I can think of two examples.

I can only think of Danny Ainge. No idea who the coaches are.

Danny Ainge was also a coach. :) Specifically, he coached the Suns, who I believe are the last team he played for, and are located near the Mormon areas in and around Utah. But as the story goes, his large Mormon family sat him down and said he was spending too little time with them, and accordingly he quit his coaching career midseason.

As for the other example I know of -- before joining the team he was most famous for playing on, he was one of the youngest player-coaches in NBA history. And before that he had a short pitching career.

Atlanta is an obvious guess, except that if so, Trae might have made it become false.

Dallas is a stronger guess, since Dirk lasted longer in Dallas than Nique did in Atlanta.

Utah is another, although I'd guess Stockton > Malone/2.

Chicago is another guess, of course, but Pippen and Jordan had comparably long careers there due to Jordan's first retirement.

I have no idea, but I think Glenn Robinson comes close to that, no?
