Pacers should have gone to Siakam earlier when the drive and kick 3s weren't falling.

Cavs have depth and with half their team out, they are unpredictable. Did the Pacer figure anything out in that first half to make an adjustment for the second half?

Everyone knows Cleveland is deep.

I didn't understand why people thought it was over before it started today. All in all, could be worse. I'm curious if Mitchell will be tired by the end of the game though. This is a heavy load to carry all game.

Also, I noticed as the fans were trying to get a chant of "overrated" at Haliburton, it looked like Mitchell was trying to kill it.

I assumed it was more about not trying to get a guy started, but I don't know Mitchell that well. I know Jarrett Allen seems like a really good dude, maybe Mitchell is too. Just didn't know myself

Compounding minutes. Even if the Cavs hold on, if they don’t get one of these other guys back, Mitchell and Garrett will have to play more and more. Pacers also have probably never seen any tape on Green and Porter. Those guys could get played off the floor with some game planning.

It’s a little discouraging to only be up 11 after that half honestly, considering how many turnovers we forced Indiana into. I think Indiana will tie or take the lead by the end of the 3rd, and I expect this game to come down to whether or not Mitchell can carry us home in the fourth.

Their source is our best beat writer.

Thanks. It’s just that some are speculating already that he’s out for the series/playoffs. I guess no real update long-term and/or they know already and won’t publicly announce it yet since that helps the Pacers.

Is this series any good? With all of the injuries, I haven't tuned in yet

First quarter was obviously horrible. The Cavs are playing for their playoff lives and they are also fired up from the injuries to their teammates. They came out of the gate with a ton of intensity that we weren't able to match. The Cavs are also shooting better from 3 which was expected. As I said during the half-time of the 1st game, water finds its level eventualy and the Cavs are too good of a shooting team to continue to struggle.

Now, we have also missed a number of 3s ourselves that we made the previous game. But since most of those attempts (not all, we did take some bad shots as well) were good shots, I don't mind those misses as much. What is definitely hurting us is the turnovers. 13 already at the half, while our season average was 12.

Long rebounds are hurting us well. Wade, Strus and even Mitchell crashing the offensive glass and winning 50/50 balls doesn't bode well for us.
