Dude, this is literally what you wrote without me editing it:

If we get Giannis with Kidd--and yet still retain at least three of Brunson, KAT, OG, Robinson, Mikal and Hart--then I will ask my kids to (re)name all my grandkids either "Leon" or "Rose."

If they go after Kidd, does that mean Giannis becomes the next target?

That's what I'm hearing considering Giannis' relationship with Kidd. The firing would then make total sense.

Liar. Here's your original post, where you quote me saying the exact opposite.

My opinion is that we'd have to keep Brunson--and at least two of OG, KAT, Mikal, Hart, and Robinson--in order to make this a go. Otherwise, we'd just end up being the current Bucks (shudder...).

My personal preference is giving up KAT and Mikal (and keeping Brunson, OG, Hart, and Robinson). And if we can't get Giannis for a package centered on KAT and Mikal, I'd prefer that we'd then walk away from negotiating for Giannis...and Kidd.

Why would the Bucks trade Giannis for KAT and Mikal? If you’re hoping to keep 3 of those 6, the Bucks might do Giannis for Brunson, KAT, and OG.

And what are you trading for Kidd in this scenario?

I.e., you know--because you quoted me--that I wasn't arguing what you are saying...which is why you "feel embarrassed."

Ron Artest, I refuse to call him by whatever name he's going by this week.

Without a doubt this is whom they should hire, he wants the job too.

What could possibly go wrong. :dontknow:

This poster is an idiot

Former Villanova head coach Jay Wright has been mentioned as a potential candidate for the open head coach job with the New York Knicks. No better a source than Wright himself has put that speculation to rest.

Wright informed New York that he intends to stay retired from coaching. Wright confirmed that he did discuss the position briefly with Knicks president Leon Rose. However, Wright said the job was not offered, nor was he asked to interview. The former Villanova coach informed Rose of his intention to stay retired from coaching.

Boo!!!! :nonono: We need a thumbs down here....

Though with Dolan involved again, I guess we should expect stupid and/or insane to become the Knicks new "normal" again.... :banghead:

Pretty arrogant of the knicks to assume that teams would allow them to poach their head coach.

Also who would want to coach a team that just fired the coach that got them to the eastern conference finals. First time in like 30 years.

They must have had a very good reason to want to ask and it's probably because Kidd is unhappy with Dallas considering what they did with the Luka deal.

Giannis is the plan.

No way they reach out to Kidd otherwise.

This, also there are other available coaches out there who are legit like Malone and Jenkins.
Reading all these reports about Knicks going after tacticians under contract with other teams would probably make these available coaches hesitate to even consider the Knicks.
Bill Simmons really like Jenkins, I also like him too.

Not yet, Dolan plans to seek permission from GSW and Miami to talk to Kerr and Spoelstra first. :D

i read everyone on their a-list refuse to let nyk interview their coaches

is it possible parity has emboldened the small market teams to give the big cities the middle finger
is it possible the coaches don't want to strain relations with other teams so they told their FO to say no to the knicks
