He's playing out of position. He is most comfortable at the 4 but it's where AD usually plays. And with AD in the lineup he's very hesitant to attack or even shoot.

The Mavs were the absolutely worst team he could have gone to in terms of fit for him to have a breakout first season.

He is such a player, and really fills a need for OKC (backup ball handler).

I'll be really curious what the rotations look like when Jalen Williams, Caruso, Isaiah Joe and Topic come back. It's a great problem to have but that guard rotation is going to leave somebody out unless they just deal with injuries all year.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Joe and Topic dealt at the deadline.
